The NBA has agreed to a new TV deal with ESPN and TNT. Beginning in the 2016-17 season the deal will pay the NBA $2.7 billion per season. Right now the combined deal is for around $930 million.

Zach Lowe breaks it down expertly here:

ESPN has the news story here:

This is crazy money. The salary cap could potentially see increases up to $90 million. I just hope the wealth gets spread around a little bit.

    Thoughts?

Is that when Wiggins, Jabari, and Randle are coming off their rookie deals, or the year before?

Looks like Anthony Davis will be one of the first guys to get PAID under this new TV deal structure.  WOW.
