 I can’t really explain it but I get it. It takes place 5 years ago when KD was a senior in High school. I’s a coach telling Kevin Durant about his future: a team that didn’t exist, players we didn’t know and in a state that had no team. Kevin is laughing because he may have dreams of playing in the NBA but he thinks the guy is joking about the team, the location, and the mentioned players because the Thunder were the Sonics 5 years ago, Russell was a junior in high school and Serge was in France. It’s just giving Kevin a look into his bright future and how different things will be then. It is a real commercial and it will air on Christmas day

 lol this commercial is dumb,. im sorry lol.. how’d he know they would move them from Seattle the city he was originally drafted to and move to OKC.. i know i know but im saying though, it wasnt well thought out in my opinion.

 The coach knowing that he will play on a new franchise is not the point. You are looking too much into it lol. It’s just about the coach telling Kevin Durant to prepare for the success he will have in his future. It’s just like when you were a kid and some older relative would tell you something outrageous (like "you will be the president one day") and you laugh because you think "that’s not gonna happen", but that old relative insists that is going to be your future.
