Since we are "finally done" making moves. What are everyones expectations?

    • Prokhorov make moves this offseason to ensure DWill stays!!!!!!!
    • DWill to do us like Melo did Denver, because he wants to go to New York
    • Brandan Wright to get scratched off as a bust once he plays
    • DWill to bring out the best in Brook Lopez
    • Keep all 4 1st Round picks, to trade at least 2 for 2012 #1 pick Austin Rivers
    • Starting 5 of Williams, Morrow, Wright, Humphries, Lopez
    • *CP3 go to New York before 2012 deadline*

The future can be bright for us ONLY if Prokhorov can get the marquee pieces to lock up DWill.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Outlaw get on the court but I think Wright will be good at SF. If I was Prokhorov my #1 choice for the SF position would have been Donte Greene hands down. He is better than both Outlaw & Wright IMO. Another thing is I don’t expect Wright to come in and start off the muscle, I’m just stating what I would like to see down the road.

Why is Wright playing sf.  That spot will eventually go to Damien James.  Also isnt Wright a Power forward.  I am pretty sure he is not that great shooting perimeter shots or handling the ball.  Putting him at the 3 spot would not be that great.

Also I wonder if last night’s Denver game was to push up JR Smith’s trade value.

You know it, but he is not going anywhere for awhile especially NOW, because they have no scoring threat if he goes. Denver will showcase him all of next season for any takers.

I personally would love to see Brandon Wright try to gaurd Sonny Weems or Demar Derozan. Easy points all day.

Brandon Wright is a soft version of Javale McGee with no shot blocking skills. Lol.

Aren’t high yet until we see what else they can bring to the table. Humphries is a FA. They need to keep him, because he rebounds, and they can likely sign him at a decent rate. They still don’t have a good defensive team at all right now, Williams alone isn’t going to fix that, if Avery Johnson can’t do it, D-Will won’t. Their next issue is Brook Lopez, he needs to be a more efficient player for the Nets to take the next step. I think that problem will be somewhat alleviated with D-Will on the team. They finally have a real leader and #1 player in D-Will, which they haven’t had since trading Carter, Jefferson and Kidd. They need to make more moves, because what they have now at most is around 7-9th best in the East.

Whether Deron stays comes down to what the Nets do during the summer to improve their roster, and what they do at the beginning of next season. If things start ugly, things will get ugly very quickly. This trade was a very bold move, and the onus is really on Prokhorov to win now, or risk seeing his reputation sink in NBA circles.
