New Framework of CP3 deal submitted to League Office for approval

I just saw this on Hoopshype, and apparently the deal is now in David Stern's hands. Not sure how reliable this is, but it's Chris Broussard's twitter, so there must be some truth.

there wasn't enough young

there wasn't enough young players and picks to Hornets and that's why it was vetoed. My guess is some combination of Hill/Patterson/Morris/Ebanks and picks will go to Hornets.

^I've heard that Goran Dragic

^I've heard that Goran Dragic is one of the guys that has been discussed in a possible deal deal, but I don't think Houston should give up anymore of their guys, The Lakers should be willing to part with Ebanks, Goldiocks, and Darius Moore, throw in a pick, and the "Basketball Reasons" go away.

And honestly, if David Stern honestly told me not to do a trade for basketball reasons, without anyother BS in the way, I would listen to him. He has been around the game for so long, he must know somthing, but in this case, that was just a bad excuse.

I dont get why Houston would be in such a rush to help LA

It kinda makes me sick too watch this unfold...apparently the Rockets are Jerry Buss's &$#%#&@! and have to include more of THEIR TALENT to help La get Chris Paul, quite frankly, I don't think Gasol is worth trading Martin/Scola/Dragic and picks for...To be honest I'm shocked that so called NBA fans and analyst stood up to speak up against Stern when he's the only one who cares about the Hornets and their overall Value to the NBA, him blocking that trade was an attempt to save a Franchise from It's very own Star player...SMFH at all of the so called fans on this site, but I almost forgot we are Frontrunners and Fair Weather fans anyway...When this deal does go through everyone will jump off the Heat/Knicks/Bulls bandwagon and back on Lakers', and on behalf of the Real fans of Real Franchises I'll be spitting Venom at every single one of them....

#Go Sixers...FTW...with NO KY Jelly

They saying

The Lakers will get Emeka and the Hornets will recieve that 8.9 million dollar trade execption from them... Hmmmm... I haven't paid too much attention to Emeka over the years especially sense he didn't win ROY... Can he shoot a 10-15 ft shot? Can you go to him? Can he play 4 along side Bynum? And they also saying they might do a straight up swap no 3 team trade...

I think the issue was with

I think the issue was with NOH taking back around $30 million in salary, Houston seemed to be the team trying to get the deal done and Daryl Morey is one of the best young GM's in the league so he must see logic in the deal. Apparently now Okafor will go to the Lakers this perhaps stops them trying to create extra cap space but it gives them a nice defensive presence at PF who can score a bit and Bynum is still there perhaps to be used as a carrot to get Dwight in due course.

From the tweets I'm reading,

From the tweets I'm reading, I'm getting the impression that Odom's out, more on that in a minute......

And the first deal was gret for NO. David West is gone, but they get Jermaine Oneal in a sign and trade, and maybe a pick. You would have Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Odom, Jermaine Oneal, Okafor, Bellineli, and Ariza. Obviously they would have to flip one of them for a guard, but that is not the post-Lebron Cleveland team, and Dell Demps is doing a wonderful job, and hopfully they can pull this off.

Couldn't agree more with ScareCrow

Couldn't agree more with ScareCrow!!!!!!

When the trade for Chris Paul first came out, so many people "liked" the Lakers on facebook. And I'm like wow, these idiots are just riding the Lakers' nuts too feel cool and when they win the championship they're going to say something stupid like, "Been a Lakers' fan before Kobe!"

Now all the Lakers' bandwagoners are going to be like, "Dwight is next!"

I completely agree with David Stern, and Kobe Bryant put it best, "He can do whatever the hell he wants," Bryant said of David Stern. "He’s the commissioner."

He is trying to make the franchise more valuable to a buyer can potentially buy the team without the NBA holding onto it. I think basketball fans forget to see the business side of the game, which is an important aspect too.

^Regardless, Odom, Martin,

^Regardless, Odom, Martin, and Scola are all great starters, and I feel that they got good value for Paul. Now whether the new deal is better, reamains to be seen, I just hope someone buys the Hornets, and the Hornets are able to somewhat begin rebuilding.
