wonzi_bellsParticipantSurprised Bol Bol isn’t on the list… He’s not very athletic but he has enough to hang in the league. I guess they don’t believe his shooting, he has slow mechanics.

holefillers1ParticipantI was talking shit on Bol Bol a couple years ago. It was a little premature on my part but I thought he was making a steady rise up the rankings. Now I want this kid to dominate.

HitsterParticipantBol Bol has size, there may be issues about his game as his father was a one dimensional player but his sheer size and that he is from a basketball background should also be a plus factor. It’s not like someone has found a raw, huge player and is teaching them basketball from scratch.
Even in today’s 3 point shooting/two way player dominated NBA, teams will still like a defensive anchor and Bol Bol with his sheer size can do that and be a shot changer just by being on court. He’d be the sort of player who would need to land on the right team whereby they had scorers and he did the defensive role. You don’t expect a guy his size to be leading breaks but if he has a reasonable BB IQ then he would know what to do, make percentage passes, gert the rebounds, play the out ball to the PG or to someone who can get it to the playmaker. Effectively play to your strengths.

evantomesParticipantBol is far from one dimensional. I would take him #1.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI saw somebody that looked like Manute Bol (obviously not as tall but still a bit taller than the average person) at the Wendy’s in the Houston airport when I was going through there in late July.
Point being, they cooked everything fresh and it was dang good.

GBeeParticipantLove how high they are on Anfernee Simons. He’s really good. Knockdown shooter from deep with a lightning release, the ability to shoot off the dribble, tremendous poise and good feel with PG potential.
Reddish might have the measurables but if someone doesn’t light a fire under him and get his head straight he could just be another Stephen Jackson, which isn’t terrible since Jax was pretty solid at his peak, but expectations are higher for Reddish.
I don’t get Quickley’s appeal. He just seems like a jack of all trades point. Nothing about him really stands out other than maybe his defensive ability for his age. I personally think Tre Jones is a better prospect but neither strike me is great 1 and done PG prospects. Ideally they’re both 2 and through at the very least.

SubZeroParticipantInteresting that they have Knox, Vanderbilt, and PJ all staying for a second year. Maybe Vanderbilt because of his foot injury and less maybe PJ if he doesn’t blow scouts away, but I would still bet they all leave
