Some of you people on this site are getting ridiculous with the negs, i mean someone can ask a legitimate comment or just state thier opinion in a very repectful manner and alot of you trollers will go neg crazy and write disrespectful comments! The forum on this site was created most likely purely as a platform for respectable debates…Not negativity and belittling people for stating thier opinions. I’m sue i’m probably going to get negged 500 times by the exact people i’m adressing, but i dont care. At the end of the day you people carrying on like you’re Skip Bayless on here are no better than any of us on this site, we’re all members here because we love the game of basketball…and we can all debate the game respectfully and with some class.

I am 100% surprised that as of right now you don’t have any +1’s or -1s. I like the system though simply because if you say something dumb then you get -1’s and if you say awesome then you get +1’s. Getting upset because people don’t share the same opinion as you shouldn’t matter.

I agree but there are times when someone with a good reputation will write something and get a plus 15 but if somebody who was -100 said the exact same thing they would get -10 because of perception. It is a good system though because I like to thumbs up or thumbs down people from my thrown of Judgement like I am the Emperor of Rome.

It’s the internet, some people are just always going to be rude.

I think the point system is good, it lets you know how many people agree/disagree with something you’ve said and can help you become a better poster. As someone else kind of said it makes people more likely to do research before posting things, which is a good thing.

There will always be trolls but the majority of us do actually talk about basketball, and toss ideas back and forth. I rarely see people get negged crazily unless it’s a trade idea or if they’re being hostile. For the most part you see much more positives than negatives.

There’s people who care about points/reputation and there’s people who just simply don’t, it’s not really hurting anyone. No reason to get offended or take it personal.
