Hey guys I recommend you guys check this fantasy league out. One of my friends created it and it tallies the fantasy points of the top 15 schools with alumni in the league.

Over the last couple years, surprisingly Duke has been dominating. Right now they hold a 791 point lead over the 2nd best team in UCLA even though the margin should be higher because Irving, Maggette, Deng, and Boozer all missed all their games in the same week. Though they don’t really have any superstars, they still have the most players who are actually productive in the league.

    Here are the top 5:

    1. Duke Blue Devils 14380.90

    2. UCLA Bruins 13589.20 791.70 points back

    3. Kentucky Wildcats 11614.30 2766.60 points back

    4. UNC Tar Heels 11348.60 3032.30 points back

    5. Florida Gators 9021.80 5359.30 points back

As you can see Duke and UCLA have been in a tier of their own in producing the most productive NBA players.

Then UK and UNC make up the 2nd tier while everyone else is far far behind.

In projecting the next couple years I think UK will try and get that number one spot because of the influx of talent they have been putting in as of late.

With young players like Wall, Cousins, Knight, and Patterson in the league who all will significantly improve as well makes UK the favorite for the number one spot in I’d say 3 years. It also helps that most of Duke’s team is made up of players past their prime and are on the verge of retiring.
