     Let’s write them down.

1- don’t score if the game is over.

2- dont talk about trash talking incidents after the game.

3- as a defender, don’t get your feet under someone landing from a jumper. Injuries happen.

    What else?

Don’t mention to Melo that the season continues after mid April.

ironically I think it’s an unwritten rule that you don’t help an opposing player back on his feet after a you hit him unintentionally or you go over to excuse if you break someone’s nose if he fell into your elbow or something. I rarely see any kind of sportsmanship in situations like this. Have seen a million flagrant fouls where the defender didn’t want to harm the other who landed hard but almost never the fouler goes over for an excuse. Would love to see players from different teams help each other off the floor injured if the was no intention of hurting the other.

Another unwritten rule is you don’t go for any overly difficult dunk if your team is losing the game. This is a tough one because if the game is not out of reach this could be an ignition but in a blowout I think Inhave seen coaches pull players who went to hard showboating while the team is already lost.

The unwritten rule at GSW is anyone can take a 3 point shot apart from JaVale.

In any sports I find it strange when players or coaching staff start complaining when an unwritten rule is broken, maybe these were just considered sportsmanship in the old days. But the golden rule of sportsmanship is always play to the rules and play to the whistle/buzzer.

Travelling for too many steps, carrying and dragging your pivot foot is only called on rookies. Same with moving screens and off ball contact fouls.

It has somehow become acceptable to strut back down the court holding up three fingers after converting a 3-point attempt. For a play that is absolutely common, this seems like a completely narcissistic and unnecessary trend.

When the player makes a circle around one of his eyes with his finger, it is my firm belief that this player has no sense of decorum, humility, or professionalism, and is simply a tool. Any actions taken to deter such gestures, I support going "unnoticed."

a lot of these players are acting weak if you don’t want a team to run up the score when you are being paid millions then you need to guard them or take the L like a champ.  Whining about another NBA team beating you bad is the not the makings of a winner.

Once you get a gauranteed contract you are immediately listed as 2 inches taller and 10 to 30 pounds heavier or lighter.

Don’t get injured, play poorly for a small stretch, or coach in any way that LeBron doesn’t approve of, or he’ll get you traded, released, or fired.
