Lotto StudParticipantWhen will we see the next best thing to hit the league and command a no-trade clause?

HitsterParticipantPlayers have to be in the NBA 8 years and 4 years with their current team to get a no trade clause unless they are on certain matched, one year or qualifying deal contracts.
I’m not quite sure how the current deal LBJ is on worked but of the known names, it is him, Dirk and Melo who have an NTC.
Blake Griffin could have had one last summer but didn’t and got traded, Steph Curry may have been eligible for one too.
Teams just seem reluctant to grant them and players having one then possibly wanting out can cause issues, so players may not be prepared to pursue them and teams reluctant to grant them.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantGiannis will have 8 years in the league at the end of his current contract. I think he’ll get one if he decides to re-up with the Bucks
