Which players do these comparisons remind you of the most? Can be any NBA player ever or someone in this draft or something. So who do these sound the most like?

A tremendous athlete and an ultra-quick guard who excels greatest in the open court or on the fast-break. His incredible speed and quickness allow him to beat his man down court and with his superb body control can draw contact or avoid it completely to make the acrobatic play at the rim. He is one of the best finishers if not the best around the rim and loves taking contact for the “and one” opportunity. Is a solid rebounding guard because he is active and boxes out his man effectively. He isn’t really a true pg but is a good passer and in the half court set can beat his man to the hole and dish. His outside shooting is definitely a weakness and although he can get hot, he isn’t much of a threat from deep most of the time unless he spots up for it. His midrange game is developing but not bad. Guarding him is a hassle because of his near ambidextrousness as he can beat you left or right handed. Obviously prefers his right but when he is going hard with his left he is nearly impossible to keep out of the lane. Is very poor at moving without the ball, needs it in his hands to really be effective. Great leader and a guy who hates to lose, which is a great quality. On defense he is always around the ball and can lock his man up and is usually guarding the opponent’s most dynamic scorer. He plays flashy and takes a lot of risks, which leads to some stupid turnovers and decisions. His shot selection is inconsistent as he already knows before the play when he will shoot or pass. He will force shots that are extremely difficult and then will pass up wide open jumpers or taking his man to the hole to make a simple pass, needs to know when and when not to be aggressive. Has a knack for the acrobatic and highlight reel plays because of his athleticism and body control.

    Comparisons:

Pint sized guard with nice athleticism. Is sneaky athletic because he doesn’t rely on it so much. Is extremly weak with a thin frame and will be bullied by guards. Has elite quickness on defense, very rarely gets beat because of his effort and incredible lateral quickness. Hustles more then anyone on the court at all times. He is a much improved ball handler, although primarily goes right because his left isn’t a factor at all. Solid passer, but clearly not a true pg and with his small size (even for a pg) that is an issue. Very good outside shooter, at his best when he spots up because he has a knack for getting open looks. Very court savvy and knows how to draw fousl frequently without driving the ball. Although he doesn’t drive at all really, he has the raw ability to get to the hole and break down the defense. Clutch shooter, who is big moments primarily makes big shots or plays. Effective shooter at the FT line. Actually one of the best offensive rebounders even for such a small player, he knows when to go in and be active and has a knack for being in the right spot at the right time.

    Comparisons:

Big man prospect for down the road. Has great size and girth to him, solid length. A few years ago he was a terribly raw player but has made incredible strides the past few years. He is still raw on the offensive end, with no post moves really but shows signs of a mid range game. Plays stronger then he is, he isn’t really bullied down low ever. Shows much more coordination and athleticism/quickness then he did a few years ago while still maintaining his big frame. Very good rebounder on both ends because of his size. Footwork is subpar at best and his lateral quickness is not much to write home about. Very instinctive shot blocker though, and against players who aren’t very quick, he can lock them up. On offense he plays around the perimeter way too much, which has also hindered his low post ability. He believes he is more of a SF then a C. Can dribble the ball a little bit for a big man, not a gifted passer at all though. His basketball IQ seems to be lacking a little bit and doesn’t fully grasp some concepts of the game and will look out of it at times, although much less then he sued too.

    Comparisons:

A decent athlete who is very skilled with the ability to score in a variety of ways. He can score really from anywhere on the court. Good shooter from midrange, good from beyond the arc as well. Can break down the defense off the dribble somewhat because he knows how to get to the spots he wants to. Has very good post moves, and the ability to battle PF’s on offense. He is a few inches short to play PF though and while he has the skills to play SF he can’t guard them. His footwork is above average but still his lateral quickness is pretty poor and his size and strength just aren’t at a level that can compete with PF’s even though he has the girth to be a PF. Solid ballhandler and passer who looks to involve teammates. Not a great rebounder because of the lack of size and not very good jumping ability. Really only looks like a decent athlete when he plays offense. Skilled with pump fakes and his basketball IQ is very good. Defensively not a threat to steal or block shots, doesn’t seem to have potential to grow into anymore then what he is now. Extremely clutch, when the clock is winding down you want the ball in his hands. If he was 3 inches taller would be a great PF. Being the wrong kind of tweener really hurts him.

Somebody has nearly the same exact answers as me that posted above. haha

Yea that last one isn’t Boozer. I didn’t see “scores from anywhere on the court”. I think it’s Jeff Green

    Andray Blatche

Im gonna steal Iggy’s answer and say Jeff Green

for most of them it sounded exactly like the player, and then there was that 1 or 2 sentences that completely cancelled that player out, lol…

Haha yeah MagikKnick, that is why I said who it sounds mostly like because I am curious. I would say all the same ones for the first one. The other 3 I had no idea about.

    Here are three more.

Poor to decent athlete at the off guard, can play some wing as a spot up shooter. Has imrpoved his game dramatically from last year. Now has a pretty consistent jump shot and a much improved handle. Height is fine for a 2, not much length though. Has decent quickness on offense and a nice midrange game where he has the ability to make difficult shots. Handle is average but he gets into the paint by attacking closeouts very well. His range extends beyond the arc, where he is a fairly consistent player. Has very little ability to take his man off the dribble, but isn’t incapable of doing it. His vertical and lateral quickness are both poor for his position and he is a bad defender most times, but gives an effort to contest every shot. Not a good rebounder and is an average passer at best. Is a little ball dominant for someone of his skill level. Sometimes can be an inefficient scorer, but maybe an instant offense guy is the better term. Tremendously weak and gets bullied with ease, though plays the passing lanes better then most, yet not special. He plays aggressive defense but this usually leads to silly fouls, and he is not a big time performer under pressure.

    Comparisons:

Slow but moderately skilled big man. Has surprisingly good footwork both on defense and in the low block on offense. Speed, vertical and agility are all below par, even for a C. Has great size and nice length at the C position and has a nice frame, though could probably add 10-20 pounds to be more effective. Decent shot blocker, but should be better for his size, isn’t all that strong and can get bullied down low by aggressive offensive players. Very soft player who tries to avoid contact and passes out of low block situations way too often. Great team player who doesn’t force shots, and is a nice passer for a big man. Can also handle the ball well for a C. Hardly ever looks to shoot, unless it is from midrange or at times from beyond the arc, has the range for both, although better inside the three point line. Has a nice turnaround jumper in the post, but hardly uses it. Poor at finishing at the rim and not a good rebounder for his size. Very good at contesting shots down low, very solid man to man D against finesse players. Not built for an up-tempo system.

    Comparisons:

Is a long, lena combo forward. Has the height and length to play PF effectively and also the athleticism to go out and cover wings on the perimeter. Rail thin and very weak for a big, although that is where he best projects. Needs to gain about 30-50 pounds to battle down low. Has a nice vertical leap and very good agility even for a wing. Hustles extremely hard, especially on the offensive glass. Is a fantastic offensive rebounder and very good rebounder on defense as well, has great timing. Is a nice shot blocker at the PF position and a very good on-ball defender when on the wing. Offensively he can not be a primarily ball handler because hsi handle is far below average for a SF. Not a good passer either, his jump shot is ugly and ineffective with no range and isn’t a good finisher at the rim. Don’t have to worry about him scoring on you unless it is off putback or his developing jump hook. Offensively there is very little to work with but he is a good teammate and won’t ever force a shot, knows his offensive limitations. Needs to develop one good offensive skill to capitalize on his tweener talent. Defensively his potential is great, he could be a dynamic defender with more coaching because of his raw ability to defender the perimeter and get steals while also block shots and rebound effectively down low.
