Based on who I think deserves to be selected for their performance thus far this season. Doesn’t take fan voting into account.

Great list, me personally I’d have Howard in for Ellis

Howard missed a bunch of games and Houston played well in his absence. I’d go with Duncan over Howard if you wanted another big.

No complaints. Pretty solid lists. It shows how deep the West is when Conley has virtually no shot of making the team without a few people sitting out due to injuries, and how weak the East is when Kevin Love is an actual option this year despite being on a sub .500 team and not having impressive numbers.

Not bad, but I don’t think Ellis will make it – the West needs to have some bigs haha…

I really don’t think Kobe should play when he gets voted in – give that spot up to the more deserving Klay Thompson

Durant should do the same thing if he manages to snag some un-warranted fan votes

Even as a long time Heat fan I couldn’t justify putting Dwyane Wade on the All Star team.

Why not? His numbers stack up favorably with just about any guard in the east and he’s played in most of the games thus far. Granted the heat aren’t a very good team but they probably will still make the playoffs. Easy call to me.

In the East, what about Wall, Lowry, and then Jimmy Butler on the perimeter?  Those three guys are fighting above their weight.  LeBron is not.  Then Pau and Bosh at the two forwards/big spots.

Yea. You could definitely make an argument for that.

I really hope Vucevic makes it. He and Oladipo are starting to look like legitimate building blocks, which is a great sign for Orlando. It was starting to look like they would get sucked into that same vortex as Utah of having to pay guys who aren’t that good.
