RUDEBOY_ParticipantRight now ,even though they’ve played 30 games there still arent a good cut front runner for MVP….If Miami continue on their pace…Voters would love to give it to Wade….

cabbycabParticipantThe Knicks are on pace to win 48 games this year which is not enough to win the MVP imo. 55 wins and over, he will be a strong candidate.

bdoody42ParticipantHere is my top 5 for MVP at the moment.
1. Amare Stoudemire- He has been the leading force behing a huge turnaround for the knicks. His numbers are great. If you read about the original poster has stated the stats. This tean could will be the 5th or 6th seed most likely.
2. LeBron James- Trust me I am far and away from a Lebron lover, but he has helped this team in a huge way. He is the defintion of an overall player. His numbers are down from last year I know but this team has been clicking on all cylinders.
3. Derrick Rose- The Bulls have had major issues on there frontline with either Noah being hurt or Boozer. His team has maybe has the lowest quality SG’s in the league but the Bulls have been playing awesome.
4. Dwyane Wade- Wade is just like Lebron in the sense that his numbers are down but he has been playing elite perimeter defense which has helped the heat become a top 5 defensive team in the NBA.
5. Dwight Howard- Howard himself scares other teams from entering the paint, and if he doesnt scare them he sure alters there shots. He is among the league leaders in rebounds, blocks, and shooting %. His scoring this year is also hovering around 20 points a game.
Honorable mention- Dirk Nowitzki- I wish he hasnt missed the game lately, otherwise he would be up in the top 5 for sure, and I expect he will work his way back into the top 5. Rajun Rondo is in the same boat as Dirk, if is was not for his injury he would be higher in my eyes.
I know most people wont agree but thats how I see it.

RickyRubio9ParticipantAgreed;
The recent injury has ruined Dirk’s chances as of now…
7 Straight Games, before the Mavs were looking very very very good.0 - Posted on: Fri, 01/07/2011 - 11:54am #472287

bdoody42ParticipantArman based on your recent posts I think people agree that your basically no providing the site with any helpful or intelligent posts. Rondo is now the head of the Celtics attack. He gets people the ball in the right position almost everytime down the court. He is actually shooting a career high from outside 15 feet, so if anything he showing improvment.

bdoody42ParticipantArman is sounds to me that you are playing favorites. Your right about the free throws, but his shooting percent from the field is high for a PG. He also is shooting career best outside 15 feet. I dont understand how someone who sets up his teammates for 40 minutes a game is selfish. He usually takes 8-10 shots a game. This seems to be the opposite of seflish in my book.

DowJonezBFGParticipantAmare is the cornerstone of turning a franchise around, MOST VALUABLE PLAYER,he is arguably more valuable to his team than any other player is to his team. I’m no LeBron fan but when he was in Cleveland they were 50+ win team and look at them without him, a perennial lottery team. He deserved his 2 MVPs, and thats what Stoudamire is doing (maybe not 50+ wins) turning a perennial lottery team into a playoff team. He leads the league in 4th quarter points which shows he is willing his team to victory as much as possible and stepping up when it counts. He’s changed the whole dynamic of that team, those same players do not look or play as timid as they did a yr ago and for a team that lacks major defense they play with a lot of heart and besdies he is 5th in blocked shots
