celtics are rawesumParticipantI’m not sure if this has been brought up 100 million times so my bad if I missed the thread. Beal and Murray have almost the same skills on this website. That’s not to say I expect the same exact stats from Murray, but I do expect him to play the same as him with the same strengths. Your thoughts?

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantI don’t agree, Beal still has the same problem now that he had coming out of college, and that’s create his own shot. Murray has shown the ability all throughout high school and his only year in college that he can creat his own shot and score at all three levels(needs to get stronger when driving to the rim). He also has the versatility and ball handling ability to either transition to point guard full time or be a guy who can come in and run the offense while your point guard is catching a breather. Beal does have strength, athleticism, and a good ability to rebound the ball at the same point in their career though

SubZeroParticipantI (and most people I’m sure) think Jamal is a better handler and shot creator, whereas Beal is more athletic and probably has more defensive potential

celtics are rawesumParticipantI didn’t look that far into it but the way you guys decribe it, I would rather have Murray than Beal. It’s great in the nba seeing players flaws since every player below top 7 have something preventing them from being dominate……..though that makes exact sense appon reading.

Memphisboy14ParticipantWell a guy with Bradley Beal type talent is still a very good prospect. While it would be great if Beal showed the ability to create his own shot more often playing off of a guy like Wall makes his ability to catch and shoot more important in my opinion. If anything the main thing that’s held him back so far in his career are injuries.
