EspressoParticipantHow good can he be?
1 time all star in his prime, on the right team
Steven A compared him to a modern-day Dennis Rodman. I think he’s more like a good defensive Kenneth Faried

ChoppyParticipantI like the Faried comp.

BallerScriptParticipantIf I were a GM I would’ve taken him lottery and I stand by that

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantHe’s already more gifted offensively than faried ever was.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantI was at the game last night. He tore Ayton apart!
Been following him since Louisville and he’s such an elite P&R finisher with great hands. He’s the one player I didn’t want the Rockets to give up in the CP3 deal.

Jr. ROXASParticipantIt’s between he and Sabonis for 6th man of the year. Maybe Dinwiddie too but for now I’d give it to Sabonis.

XYRYXParticipantDon’t sleep on Schröder if he keeps coming from the bench. He really seems to make an impact as well and not only empty numbers but Montrezl ha a really good shot at meint the 6th man after what he has done so far. His shot blocking is almost twice as high as the 1bpg DeAndre delivered and he might be the 2nd best reason behind the stellar play from Tobias Harris why the Clippers are the hottest team in the league right now.
I think Montrezl is a little bit less explosive then Faried but he is playing with a lot of energy but also seems to not be to overexcited like some players tend to do especially when hunting for weak side blocks etc. Very nice addition to the Clippers and if I‘m not mistaken was part of the CP3 trade coming from the Rockets.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantJulius Randle has to be in the mix as well.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantDerrick Rose is a contender too, at the moment.

cohenbc1ParticipantMontrezl is great, but I believe the Clippers have another pretty good 6th man.

weballin.netParticipantis exactly the type of player teams like Minnesota or Phoenix need to complete softer inside centers. When we see how the Clippers succeed with the team being the star, there’s no reason to think of Harrell going nowhere else.
Now, Harrell is not supposed to be a star. He’s great in his role and when you remember players like Horry, Fischer for the Lakers, they were recognized as great players and didn’t need All Star invites to win titles.
Concerning the 6th man trophy, he’s among a group of players who deserve consideration like Sabonis, Lou Williams of course, Schroder or Randle.

OhCanada-ParticipantHarrell is much more than a Faried clone. Right now his impact in limited minutes has been ridiculous. Offensively he’s more like Julius Randle because he has the handles and a nice touch. His face up game has really come a long way. Defensively he has been one of the most impactful players in the league this year and his improvements are the main reason why the Clippers currently sit at 1st in the West.
To me he is a clear cut allstar so far and contending for 3 awards. MIP, 6th man and DPOY. Might not be the winner of any of those awards but he will defenitely be rewarded with a fat paycheque.
