nateoak10ParticipantThis isn’t like the other ones. I basically wrote teams names down on paper given their chance the at the 1st pick much like the lottery and pulled them out of a hat similar to the lottery itself and I got an order to the draft and who they take:
1. Philly- John Wall – They lucked out and got the 1st pick. Who else would they take?
2. New Jersey- Derrick Favors- They need a power forward desperately, Yi is not the answer their, for them they need to pick highest potential.
3. Minny- Henry- They need a shooting guard desperately and they pick the best scorer in the draft. It’s close between him and Wes but since Brewer is coming along well they decide to let him play SF and take Henry. Can’t go wrong either way.
4. GSW- Johnson- They need a small forward badly. They also need to go with the highest potential so they have a shot of at an all star with this pick and Wes fits that. He’s everything they need to take the pressure off of Ellis who is always double or triple teamed.
5.Utah- Donatas- Losing Boozer will be tough so they grab the euro in hopes he can give them some more deph. They need someone who can handle well, shoot, and a big and he fits all those needs. He also seems to fit Sloan’s thinking of a big.
6.Indy- Ebanks- Hype! The guy is high risk high reward and while I think they should take Turner the injury will make his stock drop. I think until he adds builk he will actually play the 2 since he is not strong enough yet.
7.Washington- Aminu- Again Turner’s injury hurts his stock so they take the next best forward. With them probably getting ready to blow up the team since they continue to fail with the same core I see Butler as the 1st one out and he can be his replacement.
8.Memphis- Turner- Someone takes the risk and I think it pays off big time. Question is where does he fit? Well if Gay leaves he goes where he was but if he does not leave I actually can see him playing some point guard for them. Or if they want they can try to trade him on draft day for a point guard.
9.Chicago- Warren- Ouch, all the players they covet are already taken so what do they do? Take a player who resembles Gordon. Rose and Warren together would be explosive and very dangerous. For them it’s just getting Gordon’s replacement.
10.Detroit- Aldrich- They need some help up front since Kwame and Wallace are probably on their way out after this year. They will need a center badly next offseason and even though they want a big time guy like Amare or Boozer they won’t have enough money so they settle for Cole.
11.New Orleans- Patterson- With Okafor supposedly on the block I see them taking a big even though they need a swingman. Also they have little to no deph up front so taking Millsap 2.0 maybe a good move to get another guy for CP3 and to get tougher up front.
12.LAC- Davis- Take the best player available should be their motto. Davis has tons of potential and with Camby probably retiring or going elsewhere in the offseason and Kaman having injury issues in the past they may need to take a big.
13.Sactown- Moultrie- They have their backcourt set, they have a solid small forward so what do they need? How about a big with a high ceiling. With JT able to play center he can maybe get into the starting lineup if he fills out his potential. Hawes off the bench does not sound to bad in the future if this pick works out. Once again, high risk high reward.
14.OKC- Sanders- Nenad and Etan can’t be their future plans at center, and this seems to be their biggest hole. Sanders will be a project but I think they would take a shot on him. He can get up and down the court with this team and maybe can give the the post D that they have lacked against better big men.
Ok, so tell me what you think of this. Once again I pulled the order out of the hat based on percentages.

td8118ParticipantPretty good….I think that Patterson might be taken a little too high but other then that every pick is mapped out and logical, good job….I agree with you, i think Turner will be someone that people will regret not taking…i like him going to Indiana
