What are everyone’s thoughts on Mo Harkless for the upcoming season? As a Magic fan I watched quite a few of his games.. And while he flashed some great potential on defense, I’m not sold on his offensive game:

1.) Sub 60% from the stripe
    2.) No left hand whatsoever
    3.) No court vision

Granted he is a superb athlete and is very young, But as a cautious observer i am trying to be objective about his future since there are so many star wing players for the taking in next years draft.

Young guy, good talent, but will his lack of fundamentals stunt his growth?

Im wondering the same thing. Will the Magic try to find him 28-mpg this year. Will they bench Big Baby Davis, and Al Harrington letting Harris, Harkless, Nicholson, Vucevic, Maxiell, and O’Quinn dominate the three frontcourt positions. Al and Glen both have two years on their contracts. 144 minutes (48-SF, 48-PF, 48-C) to go around with a very versatile group of frontcourt players. Should be interesting to see who gets what.

Harmless is a great athlete who can play the 2-4. His shooting stroke should improve, and his handle and passing looked improved. He has a Paul George like ceiling and at worst is a top notch defender, court stretcher, and fast break terror.

Also Harrington was bought out. So he won’t be there to take away minutes from the youth.
