i just finished watching a bunch of highlights and wow, pretty impressive if you can stay motivated and stay in shape. Reminds me a little of Whiteside, but will take some time to develop. not a bad pick by the knicks.

Those free throw line dunks where he takes one dribble from half court were shocking. Didnt know he had that. His skillset body and athletisism remind me of Anthony Davis but he is extremely raw mentally and physically and in terms of readiness reminds of Javale Mcgee out of HS or even Hassan Whiteside out of college. You can tell immediately he hasnt been media coached and it seems like he hasnt surronded himself with the same type of NBA people agents usualy find these prospects. Seems to be a good humble kid though that has genuine work ethic and wants to find someone to mentor and do good by.

The best way to describe the way I feel about Mitchell Robinson would be a comment I found on YouTube’s "Kevin Knox and Mitchell Robinson Full Press Conference| New York Knicks| MSG Networks" video.

fluffyelephant32 said:"After seeing what Mitchell was wearing to draft night I know he’s gonna be a beast he looks homeless hungry and like a animal I want this man at center."

When the coach told him to move back to the oppsite side of the court and he still did it in one dribble…yikes. His skill set looks REALLY raw, but you can’t teach size and speed like that. Nice pick up in the 2nd by my Knicks.

He will be a work in progress but if he had played in college would likely have gone well inside first round.

He has size which cannot be taught and it is reasonable to assume his value will mainly be on defence. But he is a good FT shooter and looks as if he is willing to work on his game.

With Porz out, he may see some decent playing time next season as a couple of the Knicks frontcourt can or have opted out.

     O’Quinn gone,Kanter maybe opting out,Noah (?),KP injured…

He might get some real minutes next season.

I had Mo Bamba at number 1 on my big boards since the Spring. Then Mitchell Robinson moved up to 1 in my 3rd to last big board and took the top spot in my final big board.

Mo Bamba fell to 6th on my last one (I posted it here) although he was still my 2nd highest rated big man.
