GlenTaylorSucksParticipantI’m honestly not sure where either of them fit into this team…I feel like Mayo would be a great 6th man, but the reason he’s on the block is because he’s unhappy with that role in Memphis. Why would we trade for him to do the same thing? Johnson will get better, he’s just a rookie, after all. I think we should back off the Mayo talks, and stand pat with the SG we have now. If anything, the Wolves should try to get Thabeet- I feel like he’d do really well in a role with the Wolves if it’s just him playing defense. Additionally, with Randolph, don’t we already have an absurdly skinny/lanky wing in Brewer? If we get anything from NYK, it should be Ronny Turiaf- he brings size, toughness, defense, and veteran leadership to a team that really needs it. Plus, Brewer plays better defense than Randolph, which is what this team really needs.
Things will turn out just fine with Johnson at 2, Beasley at 3, Love at 4. What they really need is a legit 1 and 5…badly.

Forte IVParticipantRandolph is 6 foot 11, I doubt he would be a wing anymore in this league. he’s more of a weak pf/c now.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWow, just when you thought the Timberwolves couldn’t get any more indifferent defenders. Next thing you know they’ll be after Jose Calderon to play the point and Kyle Korver to back up the wing.

iguapops420ParticipantMayo would play nicely in the triangle. He’d get to have the ball in his hands facilitating having to worry less about turnovers. The one system where him being a tweener could be a good thing. Tho I am skeptical how he would work oncce Ricky arrives.
