FastAndFuriousParticipantMark my words….Michigan will be upsetted when the tourney comes.
Losing to Wisconsin by 9 with 17 seconds left, I just dn’t think they are as good as advertis and ths isn’t the first time I’ve said this.

sportspolymathParticipantTo win it all is Michigan. Love the backcourt and think all of the close games will help them when it counts.

BigChamp12ParticipantMcGary is a productive player and will be good, but Michigan lacks a reliable low post player to me. Burke carries them night in and night out. I’d have them as my favorites if trusted one of their bigs, but I dont.

DolanCareParticipantI’m a Michigan fan, but agree that this team isnt built for a title. Having Burke instantly makes them formidable, but everyone around him are way too inconsistent. That being said, I said that Michigan would be a contender before this season started and I got negged to hell…. So I sympathize with you.
Tim Hardaway is a stereotype of streaky shooters. He can easily shoot lower than 30% on any given day. In their win against Mich St., Hardaway went 3-12 with three turnovers. He made it very hard for Burke to will them to victory.
Glenn Robinson III is a great prospect, who helps them on defense but his offense is still budding. His confidence fluctuates, as well as his production. Right now, I expect Robinson to contribute on offense minimally on offense. He’s trained us to see him as a raw wing whos still learning how to shoot.
McGary is playing great, but he leaves a lot to be desired. He could be at Michigan for all 4 years. Unfortunately, saying that has become a pejorative reference. He seems to be fundamentally sound and participates in all aspects of the game… a solid contributor right now but cannot be considered a viable option for this coming tourney.
Nik Staukas can shoot threes.
Love Michigan, but there are several teams who could beat them come tourney time.

drk3351ParticipantWhile the OP may be right, I also think Wisconsin is an underated team and they can make the sweet 16 or maybe the elite 8.

HadzialijagicParticipantMichigan is a team that could lose the first game or win the title. They have as much talent as any one in the country and have maybe the nations best player in Burke. They have a couple of problems though: Youth(they are one of the youngest teams in all of the country), perimeter oriented(they rely too much on outside scoring, can be feast or famine), they are also undersized(playing a 6’6 Freshman Robinson out of position at the 4). All that being said, if they get hot nobody in the country can beat them. Not only possible POY Burke but Stauskus and Hardaway can pour it on when they are on. Robinson is gonna have to step up for them. It depends on who they get in their bracket. Michigans kryptonite is a team that can defend well, rebound and has a quality PF that can take advantage of being guarded by a freshman small foward.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantMichigan has no post (McGary doesn’t know what he’s doing on the offensive end, yet). Therefore, they won’t go to the Final Four. May go to the Sweet Sixteen based on excellent perimeter play.

RUDEBOY_Participant1 Stat Stood out to me from friday’s game..That was Michigan had 7 Assists, all were by Trey Burke..
They failed to move the ball properly and at times they didnt play well in transition defense..Allowing Wisconsin to score easy baskets…
McGary is a unique talent, there arent many players in the Tournament that has his combination of hustle, energy, size and athleticism…..McGary’s Double-Double in the 1st Half of the Penn State win, shows the potential this kid has……
