I am personally a fan of Syracuse and was glad to see this article about MCW on nbc sports.  I don’t think we have to worry about this guy on or off the court.

Shout out to MCW and his parents- I mean that takes a lot of trust and planning to be an Adult making more money than the avg person and be smart enough to say I want to put some away in case their is a rainy day, let alone let you parents make that decision for you. Lesson learned from everyone in front of him who had financial struggles, not to say he wont later. This is not the old NBA rookie contracts or recently the NFL where 1st rd top picks are getting 30+ mil and several years already on their contact to potentially already qualify for the pension once the reach a certain age In the NBA and now NFL you get paid on 2nd, 3rd contracts. I am not rich but I always wonder how do guys not live off 150K etc? When I was in HS I attended NBA player association camp and they broke down 1 mil contact give or take. Being 17/18 what suprised me not having worked previously was the amount they got taxed 50% and also that they get $125/day on the rd in perdiem and getting paid only during the season.

SN:Grabbed MCW rd 12 in my fantasy my last pick,he is looking like a super steal!! still fav for the ROY in my book.
