OJ Mayo has been being shopped for a while first for Monta Ellis and now for Chris Paul. So I thought of some trade ideas to help Memphis get some talent and expiring deals.

1. OJ Mayo and Mike Conley to New Orleans for Darren Collison and Marcus Thorton
Memphis gets a new backcourt and New Orleans gets a 3rd option and solid back up

2. OJ Mayo and Hasheem Thabeet to Miami for Michael Beasley and Daequan Cook
Memphis may lose Rudy and Beasley needs a change of scenary. Cook can spread the floor maybe add in Miami’s 1st rounder and Memphis sends a late 1st this trade is good. a Mayo/Wade backcourt with Chalmers as the 3rd guard is great not to mention they’d get to develop Thabeet and add STAT and a defensive SF and C with some shooters

3. OJ Mayo to New York for Wilson Chandler and a 2nd rounder. Memphis can draft Lance Stephenson to replace Mayo have Chandelr to play SF and New York has Mayo and Gallinari to whoo LeBron and Bosh

all decent trades b/c we all know OJ wont stay there long and they get decent talent back in each trade plus they have a few 1st rounders to rebuild if Rudy is def gone OJ cant carry the team himself so why not rebuild

What the crap? OJ Mayo for Wilson Chandler?? Are you crazy?? The only one i would even consider is the Michael Beasley one and still thats not the greatest. Awfull trade ideas man

Providence – dont mind that idea but we’d have to move either big al or Z-BO because that would be a log jam at PF

SuperNova – eh maybe there’s just not much point in memphis moving up 4 spots unless theres a great PG avaliable and we’d have to move up 11 spots to find the only great PG in the draft

LMAO…Mayo was not shopped…the Warriors wanted him. It was not the Grizz offering him. Heisley loves Mayo, he ain’t going nowhere unless a true star comes back in the trade.

Actually the Grizz did offer Mayo for Monta Ellis. There are a lot of people in the Grizzlies organization (namely MHeisley) who are enamored with Ellis and really wanted him, but GS wouldn’t bite.
