The Heir Jordan is going to Central Florida… any chance that he might get drafted in the NBA someday (meaning not necessarily 2010 or 2011)? Who do you compare his game to? I know he is never in the level that his father was but I like to know who you compare him to…

I seen him play a couple of times but I’m just curious who people compare him to because he’s a 6’3 left-handed player who can shoot but yeah, we had the same mindset that he might not play in the NBA… If he doesn’t, it don’t really matter after all… He is Michael Jordan’s son… Filthy rich…LOL

He’s about 6-4. He can play the 2 but I think to maximize his NBA chances, he needs to learn how to lead a team.

He can be like a Flip Murarry and maybe a Antonio Daniels type guy if he can play the PG a bit

I actually like his game, but i think people put him in the same sentence as his dad too often…that’ll probably ruin his draft stock in itself

I think he’ll get drafted, whenever his time comes….mid 2nd rounder, i mean….Taylor Griffin got drafted based on his last name, why cant Marcus?

Like your take on it magikknick… It could happen… Mock drafts are hit and miss most of the times…

He has 4 years to grow man, your the main guy always trying to throw us these ” Unknown Prospects” that why I said he can be a type player overall. Of Course these guys wont be mirror images of each other in terms of playing style

He is a decent scorer. He can shoot and has a little drive game.

Murray is not a big scorer, he’s decent.

i didnt say he was gonna be horrible but i just dont see him as a nba prospect..and i dont mind peopel saying someone i list as not being a nba prospect IF they have seen the kid play..makes no sense to say someones not a prospect who they havent seen play.though i havent seen marcus play alot i have seen flip play in hs and actyally playyed against him when we played shaw in norcarolina and i can tell u marus game is nothing liek flips..flip was more then just a decent scorer and even roy williams said he was the best player in nc and thats when he had the team that won the title

Quincey, you mentioned Jordan is no where near where Flip was as a soph,…are you talking about Jeff Jordan, Michael’s older son who just finished his sophomore year at Illinois? Even if that isn’t the case, I think Marcus is a legit 2nd round prospect, and he’ll get a chance to play big minutes and develop at Central Florida. He has combo guard potential and his pg skills are pretty solid. Plus the name doesn’t hurt, Patrick Ewing Jr. got drafted, Damien Wilkins tried to go pro every year since his freshman and went back end eventually made it as a pro. The name does help

Marcus looks a lot better and bigger than the older Jordan. I think he has second round potential based on his name, his athleticism and if he can grow to at least 6 5, He could be in the sg sf range. LIke someone said before Damien Wilkins made it somehow and he was not even hyped after his college years.

Aint Issaih at Central Florida? If Issaih is there than Marcus will be a pro.

    i feel for the guy
like to be michael jordans son everyone is watching him
there are probably 100 players like him but he has all the pressure to perform
or it could be a positive because his name may get him a roster spot on the next level

Saying Jordan is like Flip Murray is silly. Games are completely different. On the right team Flip could go for 17or so a game. He’s so much smoother than Jordan. He’s also nothing like Antonio Daniels. If he’s anybody he’s Erick Strickland. Same build, both lefty’s, similar game.

I can see Marcus being a Flip Murray type player. I belive most people are looking at both are compared to as the same age. Just think of Macus as a season Flip with NBA experence instead of a collage player. If all else fail then remember Macus has a famous father who just happen to own a NBA team, if MJ allowed his GM Rod Higgins to sign his son on the team then you got to believe that MJ will sign his own son If nobody esle claim him.
