STATnMeloParticipantThe Knicks have just disappointed me and the entire fanbase.
I hope they miss the playoffs and then draw a top 3 pick without having to exchange with Houston so hopefully we get #1 or if we #2 they get #1 and if we get #3 they get #2 but anyways.
Draft Enes Kanter, trade Chauncey Billups, Landry Fields, Reynaldo Balkman to Charlotte for Stephen Jackson, DJ Augustine
Trade Toney Douglas to Chicago for a late 1st and draft Justin Harper, then with the 3mil left in cap room trade for Ramon Sessions, and with the MLE sign a back up 2 and 3 Mickael Pietrus and Matt Barnes could be available
Kanter/Stoudemire/Anthony/Jackson/Augustine
Turiaf/Harper/Pietrus/Barnes/Sessions
UGH I’m so stressed out by this mess

BKKnicksfanParticipantMaking a list of stupid trade ideas isn’t going to bring you up.
Anyway, the Knicks need time to deal it all out. They need a new head coach as well as a offseason to put Anthony into the offense. They aren’t running nor are they defending. I think they need a 9th man in the rotation and some more defensive minded guys. Won’t happen wit D’Antoni.
As I said before, 19 games. The Knicks need a offseason to fix this.

llperezI have watched the nba for about 20 years, and all bias aside, the knicks have routinely been the worst ran franchise in the nba, even worse then the clippers or raptors. Chew on this, the knicks have actually spent more money on players then teams like the lakers and spurs in the 2000’s. I blame james dolan. He allowed both scott layden and isiah thomas to run the team into the ground and now wants to bring isiah back. LMAO. Mike DAntonni CAN NOT win in the playoffs and teams that dont play defense cant win in the playoffs. SO go ahead and keep making it rain with that money dolan, the knicks fans will have to settle with being entertained a couple times a year when guys like kobe and lebron come to town. Oh yeah, and billups has always been overrated.

magmo68Participant…Why are people expecting the Knicks to play well now…they got Melo for the future…they knew that they would not get out of the first round. They will be a better team next year. They made the trade for Melo because they want to "BUILD" a champion, not just a good team that wins a lot of games!

rtbtParticipantSome of you guys apparently don’t get it. Basketball is a game where Team Chemistry, Balance, and Depth are critical to success. Prior to the trade, I would use all of the above to describe the Knicks who were young, confident, and getting better every week.
After the trade, they have no team chemistry, no balance, no depth, they are leaderless, and in a state of disarray. As I predicted, Anthony and Amare are not a good combination. Both guys are black holes, the ball stops moving when it comes to them. You can have one guy on a team who is a black hole, but not two.
In addition, I don’t think Carmelo Anthony is a good fit in a D’Antoni run system. Expect Walsh, or that mega idiot Dolan, to show D’Antoni the door at the end of the season. They won’t blame the players they signed, they will blame the coach.
On the flip side, Denver is a team getting better every game and now they have tremendous potential for the future.

sheltwon3ParticipantThey had chemistry on and off but right now they are in a rut. It will take time for them to get out of it. I think people are overreacting right now. They were going to get the 6-8 spot and they were going to most likely lose in the first round which could still happen. Also about them missing the playoffs, Are you serious? They would have to lose out and other worse East Conference teams winn almost all of their game. It is possible but not probable. I may not even be possible because some of those teams play each other so someone will be getting losses. They could click before the playoffs and make a better team have to fight for the win or they could get lose in 4 or 5 games. my guess is they will play at least 6 games against someone and maybe almost push for a 7th. Boston is vunerable, Miami is inconsistent and even though Bulls are the better team, Knick match up with them pretty good.
Right now if you saw their games, they are just not clicking and i have seen some of their early games where they actually clicked. Amare has had a few terrible games and I think he will have to impose his will again.

BKKnicksfanParticipantRTBT, I’m gonna ask this
Do you watch Knicks games? When the last one you seen? How many did you see this season?
