ProudGrandpaParticipantLocal salesman and basketball fan, Jeff Richards, 46, showed strong opposition to Greek basketball players in the NBA, as well as Greek basketball in general when interviewed today by our reporters. Richards, who casually follows both the NBA and college basketball, seemed determined to not acknowledge the greatness of a single Greek basketball player. When asked about the draft prospects of Greek forward Giannis Adetokunbo, Richards feigned ignorance and said, "Who?" He continued to act like he did not know what we were talking about when he pretended to demonstrate no knowledge of Adetokunbo’s older brother, Thanasis. Suspicions of RIchard’s blatant racism against Greek basketball players were confirmed when he was able to tell us all about American players such as Lebron James, Michael Jordan, and even the mediocre Karl Malone, but he was unable to even recall (or spell) Greek national legend Vasilis Spanoulis. Richards was taken by surprised when confronted outside his suburban home by our investigative reporters. He seemed totally surprised that we had uncovered his tangled web of Anti-Greece prejudice. "I was walking outside to get my morning paper, when all of a sudden, all these people with big noses and curly, dark hair kept harassing me about people (I guess they were basketball players? From Serbia or something?) who I had never even heard of," Richards said. Richards gave no indication of whether he would soon choose to give Greek basketball its proper respect. Right before press time, an anonymous witness claimed that they had seen Richards watch American college basketball all day over the weekend.
