I’m happy that LeBron is back but it would have been awesome to see him and Wiggins play together… I understand the win-now situation and what better way than to get a much ready player in Kevin Love… I have no problem with Love joining the Cavs… He would complement LeBron and Kyrie perfectly…

I guess I’m just a little bothered by how LeBron decided not to contact Andrew Wiggins.. Is it too much to call the rook and say something like "hey man, I respect you and you’re going to be great some day but I’m looking to win now and I don’t think we could do that with you still developing your potential…" I feel bad for Wiggins because he was the kid that most teams would drool over and now that James had returned, it’s as if he’s no longer wanted… I know he’s a rook and he has to pay his dues but I think a phone call from LBJ giving him a head’s up would’ve been a nice gesture…

Do we really know if Lebron did or did not contact Wiggins?

LeBron did not trade Wiggins so it’s not his job to call Wiggins. Management made Wiggins reps aware of what was going down.

how stupid of me monkey boy.. I forgot LeBron is not the "GM"… I am not aware.. Wow!

Well, how come he was able to call Love and convinced him to come join Cleveland yet he couldn’t muscle some strength and call the young kid? All I’m saying is it would have been nice for LeBron to give the kid an encouragement.. I’m not arguing about this being "not his job to call Wiggins"… It’s silly to even think about that…

He states a fact and then you go and say all that.  Pretty harsh.

Why is it LeBron’s responsibility to give Wiggins encouragement?

It’s not his responsibility but to me he could’ve(May have) called and gave some words of encouragement. Why? Lebron is an NBA ambassador and Wiggins is part of the future. It’s certainly not a responsibility but would’ve been a nice gesture to the young man.

LOL @ Lebron calling Wiggins to make him feel better?

If anything, he should be calling and saying "Welcome to the NBA".

I can’t wait for the first Cavs-Wolves game. You have to imagine Wiggins has a chip on his shoulder following this whole situation. I want to see him play with an edge and I’d think playing against the guy who basically had him shipped out of town will bring it out of him. The Cavs will probably blow the Wolves out, but it will still be fun to watch.

You seem to have an incredible grasp for the most obvious things in life… but if you think Lebron made the initial communication tampering with Love by himself there is more than just brains between your ears.

LBJ would have been within his rights to perhaps have said to K-Love he was returning to Cleveland but this would have been after he had agreed terms with Cleveland and given the Heat a call out of decency I’d guess.

He may well have told the Cavs he’d like to play with K-Love but if his signing for the Cavs had been conditional on them getting K-Love then the Cavs would have tried to trade for K-Love before LBJ signed with them. If the T-Wolves had got wind that LBJ returning to the Cavs was dependent on K-Love being on the roster, immediately their asking price would have gone up.

If the Cavs had some masterplan to get LBJ and K-Love together they would probably have moved for K-Love pre draft and offered up the package then giving Flip the choice of the draft plus they still had Zeller and thepick they sent to Boston then which would have given them more trading power.
