bobbybParticipantMaybe it is Lebron? Last year when they had the best record , they had a great TEAM. They didnt need big names or max salary players to win. All i heard was there was no 2nd option. What D WADE isnt good enough. You cant have everything, that is why there are salary caps to help make it even. They even worked around that and they still cant beat the better teams. IF he needs to have an allstar player in every position , doesnt that diminish him being a superstar?

nateoak10ParticipantThat simple for Wade. Once a 1st guy always a 1st guy, unless it is a big/small combo like Shaq and Kobe it wont work. Name 2 mega star SF/SG combo 1st option scorers to ever really play great together? Not saying this will never work but that its not going to be easy

omphalosParticipantYeah, I wish Wade and Iguodala or even Gerald Wallace were teamed up; they’d be a better fit in my opinion than Lebron/Wade.

nba00Participantheat losses are all lebron’s fault not because he missed clutch shots but because he dont respect dwade’s proven skills in the final moments of the game. I think pierce and allen were both 1st scoring option in their team before they played together. Lebron is like kobe and jordan he also want to be the best in the league that is why should never play with wade because obviously he is trying to steal the heat from wade that is wade’s team.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLeBron shoulda gone to NY.
The team of Turiaf-STAT-James-Fields-Felton
not to mention the bench: Chandler-Gallinari-Walker-Douglas and Eddy Curry’s contract along with Azuibuke and Anthony Randolph to trade for a legit big man.

NYK2010ParticipantTrade Lebron maybe?
He definately has a ton of value on and he’s locked in for 3 more year and 5 total if you include the player options.
How bout trading Lebron next year or the following offseason for a PG and Center combo.
I wouldn’t say that Lebron/Wade is the only problem for the Heat considering how weak they are at PG/Center and the bench being nonexistent too. Good job Riley wasting decent cap space on guys who aren’t that good. For years I heard ppl say was if David Lee is your PF you won’t win anything. I wonder how he’d do on the Heat compared to Bosh. Doubtful Miami ever wins anything with Chalmers and/or Joel Anthony starting. Soon Dampier will retire and they’ll be an even bigger whole at Center.

NYK2010ParticipantTrue good pt., he must’ve thought Bosh was an elite player. Way to go on that one, he could’ve owned NY. Man Cavs fans must be loving this.

nba00Participantthe big 3 of the celtics had all their stats decreased but still you can feel the presence of the big 3 both in offense and defense at the same time the big 3 made rajon rondo an allstar too, and in just 1 season they became champions. If you are going to join the team of a friend who had been an mvp candidate, who lifted his team to an nba title, who is the leader and the face of the franchise you need to respect him and if he is the best clutch on your team give him the ball. Being a good team mate is not about getting 10 assist it is about giving some stats and spotlight to your team mate.

mikeyvthedonParticipantIt is easy to say that this is the wrong decision, because it was the first time three major players decided to all join a team together in Free Agency. LeBron went against the grain of being "the One" and instead became viewed by many as a cop out, or wanting the easy way out. Well, it has not been easy, and I for one think that makes it really interesting. The line-up has been constantly changing and hit by injuries, they have major holes that have yet to be filled viably and they rarely play the veteran bigs they signed for experience. All in all, I think LeBron being on the Heat has made the NBA a lot more interesting than if he would have been on any other team. They might not be living up to the ridiculous expectations they had, but as I have been saying, regardless of what happens with this team, I know I want to watch. They show flashes of brilliance mixed in with moments that make you hit your hand against your forehead. I have never seen anything like this team before, honestly, and I think it is kind of cool. Maybe they can’t play together, maybe it will not work, but I know I am down to watch.

Ghost01ParticipantD wade doesnt have proven skills at the end of games. He has proven ability to get calls, thats about it.
Trust me, if Wade had some kind of supernatural clutch ability, there would be more GW plays ran for him.
The problem with Miami isnt Lebron or Wade, its Lebron and Wade. Lebron is a great player and is totally unselfish but the end of games he just looks confused. Wade is an elite scorer, and is good at many other aspects of his game. But his body language is terrible. You know when hes not getting the ball at the end of games. He blames other teammates for his mistakes, and he gos for contact, instead of trying to score. The "MVP" chants for him are hilarious, or even for Lebron. How could either of the two win MVP when they are playing together and there team isnt even dominant?
