geothermalParticipantWith the Battle for the 8th seed between Utah and LA, what do you think would happen in this game with LA and spurs? any predictions, without kobe, will the lakers be the old Phoenix team?, what would be lakers plan be? my guess is they play the Pick and Roll/Pop all day, Pau and Dwight would be posting monster numbers,

Memphis MadnessParticipantThe phrase “nothing to lose” comes to mind.

drk3351ParticipantIt’s going to be tough to beat the Spurs I say they come out firing but cool off and get tired and lose. I say definetly the race for the 8 seed goes down to the last day.

geothermalParticipantwill the spurs rest Duncan and Parker? and minimize the risk of injury?, i mean duncan banging in the post with Howard would be pretty rough,

BenchWarmerParticipantYeah I think theyll rest. But Duncan would more likely match up against Gasol and Splitter on Howard. But there are always switches and subs so I get what you mean.

BenchWarmerParticipantId like to see a kind of PandR with gasol and Howard kindof what the Hawks do with horford and Smith. Also will nash be out still?

Ghost01ParticipantIn all honesty, no matter how many Spurs sit the Lakers could still lose. Them minus Kobe is not a very good team. They are going to be starting Steve Blake and Jodie Meeks with basically no legitimate reserves for them. I think the Lakers lose, but again, maybe I’m writing them off too much.

aamir543ParticipantThe Lakers won’t be successful until Mike D’Antoni comes to the realization that Pau is now their superstar offensively. Don’t give me the “he’s older and not as good anymore” crap. He can still be a dominant 22, 11, and 4 guy IF utilized correctly, he should be their go-to guy NOT Dwight Howard.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantI had figured that this game would be another of sterns company men trying to force the lakers into the playoffs. I dont know if kobe being hurt will change that.

llperezLakers!!!…lakers!!!… Lakers!!!…
Darius Morris is an NBA player, I’ve felt that all season. He is the teams best perimeter defender and has all NBA first teAm defense potential if he can get enough minutes. Tony Parker was 1-10 shooting with 4 turnovers and Morris had a lot to do with that. I hope he gets minutes going forward because as his offense improves, it will allow him to stay on the court and show off that lockdown d.
