XYRYXParticipantYahoo is reporting that the Lakers signed Elias Harris to a two year deal with the 2nd year as a team option.
The Nuggets signed Mozgov to a 3 year deal worth 14 million and with the 3rd year beeing a team option too.
As a german I’m very happy Harris made it to the league. Always thought he is a good allrounder and already plays like a veteran. By the way now there are 3 germans with Dirk, Schröder and now Harris playing in the league for the first time ever.
The Mozgov deal isn’t exactly a cheap one for a backup but Mozgov is a very solid backup center and should have an increased role with Kufos gone.

Anton123ParticipantWow, the Nuggets pay a centre they played under 9 minutes per game 4+ million a year. I’m happy for Mozgov though, always want a fellow Russian to succeed, guess this means the organization believes in him and will increase his playing time.
This might mean Hickson won’t be the backup centre, which would create a major logjam at the PF stop.0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/26/2013 - 11:26pm #826362

theEDGEParticipant3 German born players and 1 who plays for the Germans(Kaman).
Could soon be 4 German born players in Pleiss comes over.
Was the last time it happened with Blabb,Schrempf and Bradley?0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/27/2013 - 2:56am #826272

TRC1991ParticipantJeeze, Denver’s really spiraling out of control…I think the loss of GM Masai Ujiri is already starting to hurt them, I really don’t like the direction this franchise is heading to

Chilbert arenasParticipantDuring a summer league game Brian Shaw was talking about how they were going to use their post players much more than they did last year and even mentioned Mozgov weeks before they had resigned him which I thought was odd.

YackmouthParticipantRight now there are four native germans with contracts:
Nowitzki, Ohlbrecht, Schröder und Harris.
Pleiss maybe in 1-2 years and let’s see if there is a chance for Theis, Neumann… 🙂

XYRYXParticipantI completely forgot about Ohlbrecht and Kaman…
It’s so sad that there is zero NBA coverage in Germany on TV with so much talent playing there. We had no chance to watch Dirk getting his ring unless you have league pass or streaming/downloading on half legal websites.
