Why not the Grizzlies?

Mempho has plenty of everything (and now with Noah more size, depth, and toughness off the bench), but could use some more scoring — especially off the bench.

Why not use Carmelo as a one year rental super-sub 6th man backup up the Conley/Temple/Anderson/Jackson/Gasol five?

Or, ironically, Denver.  I think they are number one in the West (or at least they were a couple of days ago), and a brief reunion tour for the Melo Man could be just what Carmelo AND the Mile City need.

The basketball division of the Dallas Cowboys can’t afford more drama.

Better yet, I would put money on Carmelo Anthony being the number one pick in a Seattle expansion draft in a couple of years.

It is really sad end for his career, don’t like to see it to other super stars but this is what happens when your style doesn’t fit your level anymore and you don’t make adjustments, Same happened for Iverson before

 The Lakers have enough disfunctional guys around LBJ already so adding Melo would not be a good idea IMO unless he would totally buy into the role expected of him or LBJ really pushed for him. The thought of something happening with Melo, Stephenson, McGee, the Ball family and Beasley plus throw in Rondo too is almost a comic story.
