Nobody has made a thread, so here it is.

53 to 53 at the break.

Thoughts on first half? LeBron continuing his great efficiency. 100%. I liked seeing Kobe and LeBron matchup for a few plays. I thought Kobe broke him off a couple of times. I like the way Kobe is realizing the way he’s being defended and making the right passes.

Good half so far, but I still get the feeling the Heat are going to blow this game open soon.

It’s amazing just how offensively gifted and skilled that Kobe Bryant is.

Did Morgan Freeman design these Heat jerseys? Am I the only one who keeps looking toward the Heat locker room waiting for him to come out in an All White Heat uniform?

And Lebron is in that Zone where only great players go, Kobe went there when he had all of those 50 point games, Lebron is there in a different way:unprecedented efficiency, I don’t think we’ve ever seen a perimeter player have field goal percentages as high as he does. It’s just a plesure to watch.

Not being able to secure an offensive rebound is hurting the Lakers

LeBron with 26 through three quarters on 12 shots. He’s just unstoppable right now.

It’s tough to stop LeBron in a spread offense with shooters all around. All he’s doing is clearing out at the top and either getting the pick or just using his speed to go around Artest.

This Heat offense is not much different than what the Suns played, except replace Steve Nash with LeBron.

LeBron now ties the NBA record with 5 consecutive games of scoring over 30 points while shooting 60% from the floor

LeBron is without a doubt the best basketball player I’ve ever seen (too young to have watched MJ).

I play and live basketball every single day. I loved watching Michael Jordan as I was growing up. I never imagined I’d see someone else as amazing as him, but Lebron is starting to challenge my mind a little bit. The things he’s doing are mind-blowing. It seems as if he’s getting better EACH GAME.

Lebron was just toying with the lakers….i felt like he could have scored 50 against this laker defense but instead realized theres no point if he didnt have to

Those turnovers in the 4th qtr was pretty much suicide in LA. It was a very good strategy for Miami to trap Kobe coming off of picks. I was surprised Kobe even tried to make some of the passes he tried to make instead of making the simple play and throwing back. It pretty confusing because playing team ball and moving the ball around is what get the Lakers playing good and keep them close in games. But when it gets mid-way through the 4th. It turns in to Kobe ball again, I understand he’s the closer, rightfully so. But he doesnt have to take every shot. Why cant they continue to play the way they were playing which got them in a position to win in the first place?

Another thing… Why didnt they go to Dwight more this game? He wasnt playing bad at all…

Metta World Peace is 22-for-82 in his last 7 games overall and it’s been 13 games since he’s shot 50 pct or better from the floor.

Someone from the Lakers organization need to have a talk with Metta. Those shots he are taking can be more shots for Nash and Howard.

Mitch just needs to put his big pants on and amnesty Metta…and do what ever he can do to get under this luxury tax…i mean the reason why we got him was to play defense now that he cant and couldnt for the past couple years…lets get rid of him because lakers need more impactful players and not players that think theyre something that they are not..

You let Kobe high jack your team. Trade Kobe and keep Dwight if they cant coexist. Kobe has less years. Fire Mike in the off season he is all wrong for that weak personnel. Kobe been balling but jacking too he had 0 dimes the other night and is such an a$$hole he destroys chemistry by being around.

In all these years I’ve never seen anybody having to tell Steve Nash that they are open.
Dwight should tell that to Kobe.

You blame Kobe for everything, don’t you lol? Kobe has nothing to do with this situation, yet you still find a way to blame him.

Nash deserves blame. He was supposed to be the key to everything in LA and make Dwight a better player. He hasn’t done it at all.
