BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThe Knicks have had multiple discussions with the Timberwolves about acquiring Sebastian Telfair, according to an executive involved in the talks.
Any trade to send Telfair to New York may be on hold to give Minnesota time to gauge the health of Jonnny Flynn who is returning from a hip injury.
Telfair is originally from Brooklyn, New York and the cousin of former Knick Stephon Marbury.

sheltwon3ParticipantI don’t know what happened to Douglas, he started out really good but lately he has been inconsistent and does not even play D like he did before.

bkb77ParticipantBassy has been a bust so far but hes still pretty young at like 24,I wonder if maybe he could turn into something in a d’antoni offense. Im not saying hes gonna be the star that they thought he would be but maybe he can turn into a very good back-up pg. Either way if the knick really dont have to give up much then I would say it sounds like a good idea, he still has the talent & with a expiring contract hes def worth a shot.

JNixonParticipantHe’s not better than a 2nd PG. And he’s really better suited as a 3rd PG. The Knicks offense won’t make him much, if at all better than he already is. He still can’t shoot, and he’s not an efficient enough scorer for a guy who’s playmaking ability/vision is limited by his lack of size.
