DribblingDadDaughterIf marshall puts up 10 assist pr game in college he will put up 12-14 apg in nba. Thats the nature of the nba.

knicks4lyfe88Participantwow youre nuts. every team carries 2-3 point guards so 30 nba teams thats about 75 point guards in the league. Are you proposing all 75 are better then him?

Johnny ChillMarshall is a true point guard with great size for the position, high basketball IQ and excellent passer. But his weaknesses are shooting and very slow. Not sure if he is much of a defensive player.
Reminds me of Marc Jackson.

JoeWolf1Johnny Chill, you beat me to it. I never got to watch Jackson when he was young, but Jackson in his later career, especially with Denver reminds me a lot of Marshall. He wasn’t that athletic, but had a great head on his shoulders and great court vision. Marshall is going to be a guy who is going to dish out a ton of assists and not care that he doesn’t get a ton of shots. I don’t feel he’s going to be a guy to start right away, but a guy who is ready to play meaningful minutes as a #2 PG as a rookie.

Johnny ChillI just remember him playing point for the Knicks and Pacers, he would always dribble up the court with his back to his defender.
But he’s now coaching my Warriors, so I gotta show him some respect.

fliptonnParticipantdoes he remind anyone else of andre miller a little?

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI dont see Marshall being a star at the next level..But he will be a solid player…His court vision ,ability to create for teammates and his size will get him drafted pretty high…
If his Hometown Knicks hadnt picked Mark Jackson,he would’ve went in the 2nd round..Scouts weren’t too high on him..They said he was too slow, a poor shooter & not a very good athlete…Guys like Marshall owe him alot for showing scouts and GMs,you dont have to be an amazing athlete to play in the league…..

For_Never_EverParticipantI see him being A Eric Mayor type player a really good back up A decent starter.
