I definitely think he’s underrated, from most sources I’ve seen him listed as an early-mid 2nd rounder. I don’t see why he can’t at least be a late first rounder if not higher especially in a weak draft. Offensively his game is really smooth. Great jumper all the way out to the 3 point line. Can put it on the floor, has a nice hook in the post. Isn’t a down low banger but he has some low post moves. Defensively he’s much stronger than you think. He’s pretty much shut down both Morris twins so far and has held ground any time they try to post him up. I think he’s a really good stretch 4 with versatility to play the 3. I think he’d be a good fit for a team like Chicago who needs some extra scoring and a guy to complement the hard nosed bigs they have like Noah, Boozer, and Gibson. I just compare him to a guy like Juwan Johnson who is considered a first round lock and wonder why Harper can’t at least be in that mix.

He had a rough start tonight but showed a nice all round game. A big kid who can stretch the floor is never bad.

I have Justin Harper as a mid 1st round pick.

I think he could go between Houston at #14 and New Orleans at #20.

Justin Harper has impressed me so much that if I were any of the teams with a late first round pick like a Miami, Lakers or Orlando I would move up and get him, His Potential is so high. He’s like a Rashard Lewis type player and he will help any team throughout his career
