spceltic55ParticipantWhere is the love for the foreign prospect Vesley? I know that he is playing in a foreign league but that is better growing up than playing vs high school kids that you are much better than. Is Jones than much better than this guy Vesley?

MkadozaParticipantIDK what you mean… VESELY has been seen as a lotto pick on this site for almost a year now, primarily because of his outstanding size and athleticism. Still a bit raw, but a player most team are very much aware of, and a top 3 foreign prospect behing Motiejunas and DX says the 18 year old Jonas Valanciunas.. The Lithuanian Monoliths…

spceltic55ParticipantVesley has been seen as a lotto pick on this site yes, but Jones has been the number one mock selection for a long time as well. I would go with the guy that has been playing with grown men over Jones. But the other two foreign prospects are intriguing too.

MkadozaParticipantI dont see Jones’ superior size. Quickness, explosiveness yeah.. but the margin isn’t that big. But Vesely’s motor has been running hard for almost 2 years now. I’d say Jones is the better prospect, but if in 5 years, Vesely was the better player, it wouldnt surprise me.

Mr. 19134ParticipantPerry Jones projects to be a Lamar Odom type player, or Durant without a jumpshot and better defense.
Vesselly got AK 47 written all over him.
I really like Vesely as a prospect and think he should go top ten. But Perry Jones has much more basketball skill. I don’t know whose bigger or more athletic that’s almost a tie. Tho Jones is quicker especially wit the ball in his hands. Jones looks like he could legitimetly play shooting guard.
But I loved the video thats for posting. Especially the Big L song in the vid made me love it.
And I was reading the comments and the one guy said Lace Dunn is one guy I would not leave my girlfriend a lone in a room with???????????WTF?????????? What guy would this dude leave in a room alone with his girl? HAHAHA!!! People are retards.

Mr. 19134ParticipantActually Vesely will be the 4th foreigner taken in the lotto not the third you forgot Kanter. So Euro’s are getting a lot of love this year. Why do I feel like somehow the Knicks will get Montiejunas? He would be a perfect fit in their system but would only add to their defensie woes.
Best foreign prospect aside from Kanter is Jonus Valenciunus. I only saw him play one game for the Turkish team but I have been following everything he has been doing overseas and one game was all I needed to know to understand what type of talent he is. Valenciunus is a CENTER! He is a true back to the basket protect the rim type Center with enough athleticism to beat other bigs down the floor and grab out of reach oop passes. He also has a very nice low post game that is still developing. I really like this kid as a prospect and think he got top 5 potential and is def better then Montijunas and because he has a defined position he is better then Vesely. I would like to see Enes and Jonus got head to head that would be a great match up.
Another foreigner to keep an eye on is Jeremy Tyler. This kid was born in America but…syke I know you know his story but trust me he will sneak into the lotto or top 20. Orton and his peanut brittle needs were drafted in the first round last year, so in a weaker draft class there is no way Tyler slips out the first round. And based on size and talent he’s a no brainer top ten pick. I know BTPH disagrees.
