tyson is a smarter shot blocker. he knows when to not try to block shots, get in foul trouble, and hurt your team by being on the bench because of trying to block everything

Why are you so stuck on what someone’s mom has to say? Who cares, all mom’s think that of their kids. Also she wasn’t really comparing them to those players, she was just trying to make analogies that she thinks Javale is a skilled player. Saying someone can dunk like Michael Jordan means that are a spectacular dunker, she didn’t say he is anything like Michael. Also the Dirk comment she was just trying to say that Javale is a big guy who can handle and shoot outside. I don’t agree with it, but again, it’s from his Mom. If this were from a real NBA scout that yeah it would be funny like looking back at a Kwame Brown draft profile, but this is just kind of nothing.

Dude 33 inches is high for a 7’1 center with a 7’7 wingspan….. In terms of jumping height, I doubt anyone can jump higher than he can in the entire NBA.

i know @ghettosermon.. most moms overrate there kids or there ability. i guess its only news to that guy because thats very common i may not agree with what she said but i can understand it coming from his mom. you hear that from guys moms all the time. dads tend to be more realistic though

womens bball and mens bball is a complete different sport. I like watching both but theyre much different. McGees mother has no place to compare her son to those types of players in any aspect of his game..accept for Tyson Chandler because that is realistic

Ive seen way worse comparisons by forum users on this site, and they are just the players fans not mothers. Shes embolishing his skills, but its somewhat true. He does have the abillity to put the ball on the floor, he just doesnt know how to use it hahaha. Not like Dirk thou. He does block shots as well as anyone in the NBA, he just needs to learn positioning, body control and get stronger. He does have amazing leaping abillity especially for a frontcourt player but nothing like Jordan. In all I cant be mad at her for promoting her son.
