lowryfoyerayParticipantI watched G-tech vs UNC today and this was the first time i saw g-tech this year… Iman shumpert looked real good. Good size/athleticism and a good finisher. Do you think he’s a prospect, and do you see him at the 1 or the 2?

ilike.panochasParticipantHe could probably play a little bit of PG perhaps a back up, like Antonio Daniels. He has great size and athleticism for a PG but he doesn’t shoot the ball well. He’s a 2nd round prospect to me.

iguapops420ParticipantIf you look back on some of my posts concerning second round picks, you’ll almost always find Shumpert’s name brought up. He’s got a good amount of potential. He’s was always asked to be a pg for the G.Tech. This made him seem like a score first pg, when he’s really more of an unselfish2 who excells driving and dishing to teammates. Has a good stroke and range, just has no consistency yet. The tools are there to develop when he gets to the NBA where he will get help from shooting coaches. His finishing ability is lower than you would like, but so were Jamaal Crawford’s over the years. As of now, I like the Antonio Daniels comparison, but think he could develop into something more of a Larry Hughes type in the right situation. I think he will be a better NBA player than college. He needs to work on his maturity though. He’d be a nice find in the middle of the second. His defense, versatility, length/athleticism will help him find an NBA niche like A.D., Marquise Daniels, and Delonte West.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantThis game only Shows everyone that UNC Really Suck…Becuz Georgia Tech has been 1 of the worst teams in the nation this year…They lost by 17 to Kennesaw State a former D2 school earlier in the year…GT also lost to Charlotte and Siena this season…

ball4life66ParticipantGeorgia Tech is a very good team at home but just horrible on the road. Definitely not one of the worst teams in the nation.
Shumpert had 22 points 12 rebounds 11 assists and 7 steals in a win over the Hokies tuesday. He is having a great year.

iguapops420ParticipantWas just looking at that. If he stays he could potentially have a breakout year next year as he seems to be finally getting "it". Problem is that he could very well just as easily go early second this year or late first, and could end up going back and being injured or just have another poor year showing little progress. and could fall completely out of the draft all together. If he keeps up at the rate he is going right now, I think his best bet would be to go ahead and at least test his stock. I’m really looking forward to seeing his measurements and athletic testing results.
