First round would be the first team vs sixth, second team vs fifth and third vs fourth.

I mixed and matched a few of the teams because I wanted it to be pairs of SG’s and SF’s. Who do you guys think will be the last two teams and who would win ?

1- Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen

2- Brandon Roy and Kevin Durant

3 – Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony

4 – Dwyane Wade and Lebron James

5 – Andre Iguodala and Paul George

6 – Ray Allen and Tracy McGrady

And which one of those 12 players is Kevin Love guarding on the perimeter.  They would get annihalted.

Jordan and Pippen for sure. You have the 2 best wing defenders ever on one team.

Pippen is a great defender, but he wasn’t a offensive Juggernaut like some of these other guys. He is dealing with with some of the best SF’s ever outside of Larry Bird. It’s arguable Lebron is a better defender then he is. A lot of people would question if he would be a Hall of famer if he didn’t play with Jordan.

Yeah Pippen/Jordan win, not sure if anybody on that list could stop Jordan having his way with them in the post.

It would be fun to have this tourny set up football style, an offensive side and a defensive team.

    offense: iverson/McGrady

    defense: Payton/Allen

Very original topic, I agree that if you took everyone at their peak then MJ and Pippen have to win.

I’d go with Kobe and Melo if Pippen weren’t such a great defender. I think there’s no matchup for Jordan-Pippen and it’s not because of their offensive prowess. They are both great defenders and passers. Chemistry can’t be created easily.

Jordan/Pippen, Wade/LeBron and Bryant/Anthony would be the final 3. The Iggy/PG team wouldn’t be good enough offensively, Allen/McGrady defensively and Roy/Durant are just unlucky that there are better players. Bryant/Anthony is the most skilled offensive duo but probably would try to outdo each other with tough shots and lose. Wade/LeBron vs. Jordan/Pippen would be fun. Four fantastic defenders at their best and only LeBron is consistent from behind the arc so it’d be battle in the paint. I’ll give the slight edge to Jordan/Pippen.
