festar35ParticipantApparently the Pacers are looking to move Granger this season or next off-season – http://blognbasketball.com/2012/08/s…trade-granger/
Personally I think this will be good for PG’s growth who is having a great time in China (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJDG53SfUe8) but I don’t want them to move him for just that reason alone, would like something like starting SG or PF (West is aging).

Charlie SheenParticipantI really think they could use a legit shooter/scorer or defensive minded 4
Eric Gordon and Josh Smith both seem like likely candidates
Under the radar guys like Kevin Martin and Paul Millsap could be had

LerinErinParticipantI would NOT want to trade Smith for Granger….. Danny contract is one year longer. I am in hopes Hawks just totally blow it up, get ass much under the cap as possible and have as much as cap space as possible after next season.

IndianaBasketballParticipantPaul George can dunk, but does he have a mid-range game yet? Has he improved his ball handling enough to create his own offense off of the dribble? Because that’s what the Pacers need him to do if he’s to push Danny Granger out of the door *THIS* season.
I don’t think Granger will be moved this season. West is on the last year of his deal (GREAT signing by Bird), so expect the Pacers to stick with Granger, Hibbert and West leading the Pacers for one more season.
Granger will be moved after the season and he’ll be very attractive to teams because not only can he play… He’ll be an expiring contract.
But yea… The writing was pretty much on the wall for Granger when the Pacers matched Portland’s max offer to Roy Hibbert. And of course, George will be up for extention soon. It’ll be time to move in a new direction after this season and I’m sure Granger will appreciate a change as well.

festar35ParticipantI found it on Pacersdigest.com, it just states that Pritchard is looking to move him either during or after the season.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWhy do you think Eric Gordon is even possible? He just signed with Hornets?

omphalosParticipantI’d love to see a trade between the Pacers and Kings with Granger and Tyreke as the main pieces.
Kings get a legitimate SF who can spread the floor for DMC, and provide a bit of veteran leadership. Pacers get a guy who can create his own shot when isolations are necessary, can defend either guard spot and also be a playmaker. Hill, Evans and George would form an imposing perimeter unit on both ends and could allow the Pacers to become truly elite in the East.
I think it’s a win-win for both teams, what do you guys think?

festar35ParticipantI would love to see Tyreke playing next to Paul George, that would be an awesome wing combination.

geothermalParticipantboth of them cant shoot threes, what would happend in a half court play with an intensive man to man, i mean with the boston defense, the combination of George and Tyreke probably wont be great, no room for driving? and sorting for the tough mid range shot, ehhhhh, not so good

Anton123ParticipantI’m pretty sure George can shoot threes. He averaged 1.7 makes through the season and at times looked like it was all he could do.

IndianaBasketballParticipantToo many people focus on flash over substance.
Evans is flash personified. No off of the ball game, not active without the ball, no jumpshot… He wouldn’t be a great fit. This isn’t a two minute youtube clip… This is real basketball.
And even George… He has A LOT of work to do on his game. Right now, he’s good for defending (he’s best attribute right now), showing some activity without the ball and making a long range jumpshot here and there. However, he’s a below average ball handler, scary passer, little to no mid-range game and his athleticism doesn’t always translate at the offensive end. He attempts less than three free-throw attempts per game. He needs to be more aggressive.
Right now, Granger is still the Pacers’ best player, followed by Hibbert and then West. Trading Granger this season would be taking a step backwards.

lalailaParticipantin my personal opinion Paul George looks just as much of the next wing “superstar” PROSPECT as all those hyped college or HS kids..
he just has EVERYTHING all he needs to out it all together and find than “killer” in him or in other words just strat to be a little selfish game style wise at times..and even if he doesn’t he will still be a really complete offensive player with even nice playmaking and he is already known as a defensive specialist..like this guy..good thing going to happen in his career i believe
