He doesn’t need to gain any muscle to do this, while addressing his biggest weakness. Especially at 0:08, 0:29, 0:51, 1:10, 1:40, 1:45, and 1:59. If he added those kind of moves, he would then be the BEST scorer in the game

DC ChillinParticipantI feel if he does work on his post game he could be a 30-32 ppg game for the years to come…
So when defenders like Tony Allen who are undersized check him, his length can easily put an advantage game in and game out.

Vivid5292ParticipantI really think that these moves are effective because Carmelo has the muscle to plow his way into the paint and/or take the beating that comes along with it. I think K.D still needs to add a little more muscle or else he’ll be planted & stuck whenever he tries to make those moves unless he gains a little more quickness as well. It’s a really physical dimension of the game. They don’t call Carmelo The Bully for no reason.

jerb2011ParticipantThat is true and that is why the times I emphasiszed are moves that he doesn’t have to use his strength for, just he quickness.
