I May Be WrongParticipanthttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/02/24/john-wall-calls-out-team-wizards_n_827840.html
People will say "Who does this rookie think he is for calling out his teammates?" But you know what, I applaud him for that. I think he’s handled this whole season maturally but after a tough loss, they deserved to be called out by their young superstar. There is only so much he can do by himself. This team is still 2-3 years away from being playoff contenders but that doesn’t mean you give up on your franchise player so fast.
John Wall, I feel your pain bro.

omphalosParticipantI’ll co-sign that, Wall must be getting frustrated with the inconsistency of Blatche, McGee and Nick Young. I feel like a coaching change is necessary to re-invigorate the team though.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantGood for him for doing that. Somebody’s gotta step up; who better than their best player? That’s what they picked him for- not only to be a ridiculously good PG, but to be the face of the franchise, the leader of the team. As Aaliyah sang, age ain’t nothin’ but a number.

I May Be WrongParticipantIm sorry to any Wizards fans and Andray’s momma, but I am not sold on Blatche as any teams second option. Either he gets traded or get another solid big man who can defend better and is more consistent. As far coaching, can someone say Larry Brown? hahaa He loves challenges and since this team only has 3 keepers (Wall, Young, and McGee) then this team could benefit from a coach like Larry who gets the best from his players

SwatLakeCityParticipantHopefully Wall’s good play, and effort will rub off on his teammates and if not then Management (if they are smart and are committed to winning) will trade those players who are causing problems like Blatche and Rashard Lewis.

flyboyParticipantAfter that Boston win in mid-January, I thought the Wiz could be a .500 team through the rest of the schedule, and show improvements. Instead, things have gone completely in the opposite direction, and the Cleveland win was the only game I can think of where they brought it for 48 minutes as a team. Young is inconsistent and doesn’t bring his best game on the road enough, Blatche is super inconsistent with his game and effort, McGee lacks maturity and is very raw on both sides of the court, we’ve been injury ravaged, there has been little help off the bench, and Flip pretty much looks gone mentally. I knew they were going to struggle, but it’s been worse than I expected. Wall shouldn’t be put in the position of leading this team yet, but I’m very glad someone did and I applaud him as well for stepping up. Hopefully his words light a spark under the rest of the players.

BigDParticipantCongrats to John Wall, but i think the current team could be a lot better then what they are, just a change in the coaching staff is needed
