How much is Nate Robinson Worth

My question to fellow NBAdraft.net members is how much is Nate worth. Obviously he is worth more than his current $854,389 salary. But how much more should he be able to make next season and so on. He is having a great playoff run and I'm pretty sure most teams in the league can use a guy like that on their team. He can pass,he can score,he can get to the rim and finish even at his height,he can hit the long ball when he is clicking and he can put full court pressure on a ball handler. I would say he should get a deal next year somewhere is the 3.5M a year area.

How many teams are willing to

How many teams are willing to give that? The only team I could really see doing that is maybe Utah, if they dont get a point guard when trading their bigs.

I was surprised he didn't get

I was surprised he didn't get more love in free agency. I was really excited when he got traded to the Thunder, but his injury really set him back with them. He really fits in great with the Bulls since the team is based around a scoring point guard. I think he could be very productive as a 6th man off the bench.

Before the start of the

Before the start of the season, I was starting to think Nate's success was more based on New York's system and the fact they were a bad team from 05-10, but he's been terriffic all season. His speed with the ball in his hands and his ability to score were greatly needed by this year's Bulls team. I think he should be a priority re-signing this off-season. I think he should get 3 - 4 million a year. 18.3 ppg 4.3 apg on 50% shooting in the playoffs thus far.

Good Nate Bad Nate

I have watched a ton of the Bulls this year and while Nate can have an absolutly huge impact (in a positive way) he can also shoot you out of a game and kill you with poor decisions. And, he is a defensive liability. Good Nate is great, but I have seen too much bad Nate this year. My timing is horrible because Nate has had a great run in the playoffs and also played with the flu and 10 stitches in his face, however, he will not be back with Chicago next year. Chicago does not want him back but won't even have the option to consider it because someone will overpay for him in free agency and the Bulls are cap strapped until next summer. I think 2 to 3 years and $4-$5M per seems about right.

I agree with Good Nate vs Bad

I agree with Good Nate vs Bad Nate. Bad Nate and his shot selection, ugh. But Good Nate, the one right now, has been memorable.

As a measuring stick, Barea's getting $18M/4 years after his playoff run in 2011.

I agree with 3 yrs @ $12

I agree with 3 yrs @ $12 million.

Make the last year non-guaranteed.
