     If Rondo had a Jumper?

    If Monta was 6’6?

If Dwight could shoot FT’s at 80%?

If Blake had a good mid range shot?

    If Baron never got lazy?

If A.Randolph was not a dumb arse?

If Scalabrine was as athletic as a young VC? (lol)

If Rondo had a Jumper? He would be the closest thing to Isiah Thomas. His court vision + defense + A GOOD JUMP SHOT! Probably the best PG in the game.

If Monta was 6’6? If Monta was 6’6 he would be the leading scorer in the NBA. AND HE WOULD BE AN ALL-STAR lol.

If Dwight could shoot FT’s at 80%? If Dwight could hit FT at that rate, he would be atleast a 25PPG scorer.

If Blake had a good mid range shot? If Blake had a good mid range shot, the game is OVER.

If Baron never got lazy? If Baron never got lazy, he would have had a Hall of Fame career.

If A.Randolph was not a dumb arse? Hmm..Im not sure if he is a dumb player, I just think he is stubborn and needs to work harder.

If Scalabrine was as athletic as a young VC? (lol) If Scalabrine had a young VC’s athleticism he would be Joe Alexander, which means he would still suck.

Think about if Rose was 6’6"… he would absolutely destroy the League.

^^^^ theres already a person like that in the league but 2 inches taller than 6’6, his name is lebron……

also, i hate it when people say blake griffin doesnt have a mid range game… he faces up quite a bit… its nothing spectacular but its not like he cant hit a 15 footer to save his life…

man, i think monta being 6’6′ would actually help his defensive game more than his offense, the guy is already unstoppable on offense

He’s not Dirk Nowitzki, but Blake Griffin can shoot. He just needs to become more consistent.

A 6’6" Rose would be better than Lebron if he retained his skillset and athleticism. He would be a better scorer certainly, and the D/jumpshot would come. He’s also mentally tougher than Lebron and has more of a killer instinct. At the very least he’d be Kobe, but probably closer to Jordan.

I liked all the questions except the one about height. It’s not a bad question, but if you add 3 to 4 inches to a lot of guys height it makes a world of difference. There are a lot of point guards that would be in the NBA right now with extra height. A lot of guys could shed the tweener tag. Some second rounders become first rounders etc.

if rondo had a jumper i agree on the comment hed be the best pg in the league hes already among the top 5 imo and his jumper is pretty much nonexsistant monta is already one of the most unguardable players in the nba but being 6 6 would make him even more lethal cause then hed be able to post up smaller 2s and would help his d as well blake already has a decent mid range game he simply doesnt use it at this point cause he doesnt have too but he can consistanly knock down the 15 footer baron well he got the money and laid down

Doesnt Blake have a solid mid range shot?

I think Rose is like a mini lebron. If he was 6 6, i dont know if he would be better than Lebron, he would be quicker and have better moves going to the rim, but lebron would still be alot bigger. Seems like his jumpshot has become more reliable than LBJ’s tho.

Hard to answer because they might not have worked as hard if they were a lil taller or there games were a lil better

If u think about it Rose is a mini Lebron, very athletic, strong bodied, playmakers who impact their respective teams in pretty much the same way. Rose jumpshot does seem a lil more reliable tho imo an also Rose does seem to have that killer instinct that people say Lebron lacks.

I think they have the same jumper and same Killer instinct. Where has Rose shown more killer instinct then Lebron?

We use to do the height game all the time in Philly with Iverson.  What if Allen was 5 inches taller he would be way better then Kobe…ect….But he would be a completely different player, he might not have the Napolean Complex to be so aggressive because that was Iverson unquestioned greatest attribute was his relentless motor and inhuman endurance.

Different things make different people great, if Rose was 6’6 he still wouldn’t come close to Lebron tho, James would still be a better passer, rebounder, and defender.  Plus James has a better natural jumpshot then Rose.

Dwight would average 30 if he could shoot foul shots.

A 6’6 Monta reminds me a lot of a Kobe Bryant, he just does.

Blake does have a mid range and undervalued perimeter skills.  I told people he was closer to a small forward then a center.

    Story of Baron’s career.

What if Mo Speights played defense he would be an All Star.  Some players just aren’t meant to be.

    Joe Alexander…CTFU!!!

Did y’all know Blake was considered a SF/PF on scouting sites in HS?..I watched some of his HS games on the Internet last week and he had some nice handles. Not for sure SF handles but spot SF duties

    Rose’s killer instinct;

Playing with stomach ulcers, supporting his team, leading his Bulls above the Heat in record this season despite injuries to his main contributors in Noah/Boozer for a large proportion of the games, his absolutely dominant performance against the defending champion Celtics in 08-09 in his rookie year. Yeah, he has the killer instinct.

That said, all these are just hypotheticals, I’m proposing that if nothing else were changed barring his height he could be a better player than Lebron. That said, the Rose we have now is still pretty awesome, and let’s just enjoy the players we have, the imperfections in players are what make them fun to watch, who wants to see perfect basketball playing robots? Not me.

If you don’t just watch his dunk highlights, you’d know that Griffen does have a good faceup/midrange game. He’s no Tim Duncan, but he’s also just a rookie. His handles are amazing for 6’10 rookie, too.

    Wow…Omphalos, I am speechless.

    And

Come on dude. supporting his team? Um…ok. The Bulls don’t have the better record either, they are the same. As for the playoff series, seriously LeBron has had far better series than Rose has had…He lead his team to the Finals at about the same age as Rose, who has lead his team to the first round. Not to mention, as great a year as Rose is having LeBron is having a better one thus far.

    If Rondo had a Jumper?

He would be unguardable and he probably would not be a Celtic now or either a higher paid one

    If Monta was 6’6?

I think he would be Jordan like without Jordan D or his charisma

If Dwight could shoot FT’s at 80%?

He would average 30 but the refs would let players beat up on him more

If Blake had a good mid range shot?

I thought Blake had a decent mid range shot but i think a better thing would be what if Blake took more 3’s and shot at 40% or better.

If Baron never got lazy?  This is tought because New Orleans may have gotten more for him when they trade him and Chris Paul would have more help now.

If A.Randolph was not a dumb arse?  I dont know if he is dumb but I think in time he will realize what he needs to do to get minutes and stay in the league.

If Scalabrine was as athletic as a young VC? (lol)

Scalabrine would be the best white player in the league if this was true.  Scalabrine can ball and that Joe Alexander comparison is off.

    Alright Jammin-Lemon;

I meant supporting his team publicly, taking the burden of responsibility on himself. They were second in the East last night when I checked nba.com. But granted, I should have said the same not better.

As for Lebron having better playoff series’, Rose was in his rookie season and stood up to the depending champs, I’m not saying that was the best series by a player ever, but it showed the killer instinct at such a young age. Even if they were the same age, Lebron would have had an extra year of NBA experience coming out of highschool. As far as having a better year than Rose right now, I disagree, Rose is doing more with less and if you go beyond stats you can see that. However, even if I accept that Rose is having a worse year than Lebron, is there anything wrong with that? It’s amazing that it’s even up for discussion, Lebron is the two-time reigning MVP and is in his prime, with an extra five seasons of NBA experience, Rose is a two-time All-Star in only his third.

Now, when you consider that Rose is even in the discussion with Lebron as MVP this year at 6’3", is it unreasonable to think that with an extra three inches and a move to the SG position Rose could rival or surpass Lebron? You probably won’t accept any of my thoughts about a hypothetical situation because as your pic indicates you are a Lebron fan, but it’s conceivable to imagine a player better than Lebron if you tweak an existing player and James remains the same.

    I’m out.
