They have nice piece with Rudy Gay, Demar DeRozan , Solid Point Guard Kyle Lowry & pretty good bench. If dont trade Andrea Bargnani??? They could make the playoffs next season between 6-8 seed it depend what kind moves they make.

I think they can finish anywhere from 5th to 9th in the East. They were tenth this year and started off the season 3-17 or something. Jonas Valanciunas is legit and Ross has his moments, Gay and Derozan give them two good wing scorers, if Bargnani straightens out he could be a huge threat off the bench and extremely dynamic, and with role players like Johnson, Fields, Lucas, Gray and Anderson the team should be this years Milwaukee seed at least. With all the young talent improving they will only be as good as Kyle Lowry, he needs to play alot better for this team to succeed.

Bargnani is an Enigma at this point, but I think the Raps will be firmly in the playoffs if they sign some solids vet to add to the second unit – particularly a backup pg. Depending on how much of a step forward Valanciunas and Ross take, they could end up doing more than that.

I think the Raptors will be in contention with Cleveland, Detroit and most importantly, Washington. Wizards had a great record with Wall in the lineup, and with Beal, Wall and Nene for a full season they could finish above Nets.

So Nets, Bulls, Pacers, Heat, Knicks are almost locks, Celtics and Hawks are possible depending on whether they go for a rebuild or not. Which leaves 2 spots for Bucks, Cavs, Wizards, Pistons and Raptors all moving into playoff position. I feel like the Raptors and Wizards will both make the post-season next year, but Toronto will just scrape in.

Even though I think they should’ve taken Lamb instead of Ross, I saw some good things out of Ross this season. Valanciunas is a fantastic big man and Bargnani can space the floor and is a match up nightmare, regardless of what people say about his defense. I think they definetly make the playoffs next season. Rudy Gay needs to learn how to be a good team player though.

Yes that Ross over Lamb drafting could really come back to haunt them..

How did they pass on Drummond. It was easy to justify and sell myself after the draft although in hindsight what a terrible pick. Toronto was scared of the responsibility of developing two raw bigs and passed thinking Ross was NBA ready. What horrible evaluations of talent.

I would be so happy with that. Who do you think Toronto would draft? I’m thinking either MCW, Schroeder, Adams, Olynyk, Dieng or whoever falls.

OKC need a scoring big, i could see them maybe getting Bargs off the bench for 20-25 mins per night with trading their 12th pick to Toronto

I say trade Perkins and the two first round picks to Toronto for Bargnani and Valanciunas.

Then they’re losing Bargnani too and only recieving that late 1st rounder as compensation, that all spells a terrible trade…
