I am loving this match. The heat can move within 1 game of the top seed if they win, so plenty on the line. The crowd is into it and you can see that it means more than just a regular season game to the players.

Hibbert came out and dominated Greg Oden in the 1st Quarter (11 pts) and made a statement that the heat can’t bring in 1 player just to stop him. If anything, he looks more motivated!

    Who’s watching?

I’ve no idea why SVG thinks that should be a flagrant. It was clearly accidental contact from James as he raised his elbow into the shooting action. I sometimes wonder if they’re actually looking at the same footage as us.

Haha I love Lance Stephenson. He just got ejected for jawing with Wade but no-one plays with more heart.

Previous poster is right, that wasn’t a flagrant by James. Just an accident on a hard drive to the rim. Roy Hibbert showed some courage by coming back though.

Also makes you wonder whether we’ll see Oden in the Eastern Conferance Finals after being dominated by Hibbert.

Wade with a great dunk on Hibbert with the foul, and Paul George with a great blow-by dunk on James earlier.

Best match I’ve seen all season! Tied at 76.

The more I watch these two teams play, the more I am convinced the West is going to win the NBA title this year.

Both teams have been playing poorly lately, and this game was more of a "who wants to not lose" more than a "who wants to win". Both teams missed makeable shot after makeable shot down the stretch, and the Heat still look like an old, exhausted team that needs LeBron to be at his very best and still isn’t always enough.

Indiana still has some of the worst ball movement and offense in the league. Their crunch time scorer in the playoffs is probably going to be Stephenson, which is a scary thing. Before he was ejected he was the only guy looking to score.

I don’t think the Nets or Bulls will win the East, but I truly do believe that gap has closed greatly the past two months.

And if I’m OKC, or the Clippers, or most of all the Spurs, I am licking my chops watching two teams that struggle to score and have no bench struggle to score 80 points against each other.

PS: Isn’t it weird how LBJ doesn’t get calls against Hibbert? Some clean, great rim protection by Roy throughout this game, but even on the 50/50 plays he seems to always get the no-call.

Ray Allen would have helped the Heat tonight. Too bad he was sick.
