Guys who will rise a few spots

So, every year there are guys that rise because teams see something in them that observers don't. Who will it be this year? I have a few suggestions, but I'm curious to think who you guys believe might make a draft board jump...

1)Rui- I have seen several mocks moving Rui Hachimora to between 10-15. I think in this draft, with the drop in talent after the top 3 that Rui has to be a top 7 draft. He is strong, agile, and making improvements day after day. He can play the 4, the small ball 5, and if he can improve his jumper maybe even play spots at the wing.

2) Tyler Herro- Ok, hear me out. Herro has a vastly underrated floor game and skill set. He can get to his spots with his handle, and his release is among the prettiest I have ever seen. He has ideal height, and while he isn't a great athlete he is better than people think. I think that if he declares he is a sure-fire late 1st pick, but a team in the late lottery might take a flier on this kid. A taller JJ Reddick? That's worth a late lotto pick.

Feel free to knock me, but I would rather hear your suggestions!!!

+1 for mentioning tyler herro

+1 for mentioning tyler herro will move up..i've been saying that since early january.by the time of the draft he's going by lottery consideration.....has the ability to score in a variety of ways. and an outstanding shooter...and as he told that arkansas player 'he's money' ....

every year there's a guy that surprises every1 one and moves up...ochai ajbaji of kansas could be that player this year that rises...

coby white of unc ..

remember the names deividas siryvidas of lithuana and joshua obiesie from germany...they might not enter this year, but some guys to keep an eye on in the future....

I agree about Ochai

...but I think he does one more year at KU. He missed half the year and wasn't the most talked about kid before his recent outbursts. He is an elite athlete and defender, but I think scouts will want more performances to go on. I agree, though. He is a great pick for a riser in 2020.

Rui is waaaaay bigger than I

Rui is waaaaay bigger than I thought. Herro fits that Booker, Klay, Kennard mold to where I cant imagine him dropping out of the lottery.

Rui is definitely a top 7

Rui is definitely a top 7 pick, he's this year draft Kyle Kuzma, a prolific scorer at the 4, has also some shades of James Worthy...

Herro is more Buddy Hield than JJ...

my risers

i have noted a few risers from my mock draft...

brandon clarke - gonzaga - guy reminds me of jordan bell with his athleticism and shot blocking ability. i can easily see him sneaking into the mid-late 1st round in a weak draft. have a feeling his wingspan will check out to where people don't view him as much as a tweener.

coby white - unc - this guy reminds me of a poor man's jamal murray/spencer dinwiddie. creative scorer that can makes up for lack of athleticism with size and effort. he's turnover prone but i think he'll get better.

pj washington - uk - tweener pf that will need a good set of wingspan measurements to solidify himself in lotto consideration. improved shooter that allows for stretch 4 capabilities but already knows how to use his body to rebound. liken him to a paul milsap.

cameron johnson - unc - the ability to shoot the 3 at his size will be a big attraction to an nba team. if his wingspan checks out in the combine measurements, i could see him moving up on the boards. his mobility is much improved and looks like a possible 3-D candidate at full health.

matisse thybulie - wash - this dude is straight up andre roberson 2.0. doesn't offer too much on offensive end but is a lockdown defender. he's athletic and will test well in combine and wouldn't be surprised if a team picks him up on the backend to be a lockdown perimeter defender.

bennie boatwright - usc - nice height/skill set ratio for a big. stretch 4 who can score in a lot of different ways. i think a team will take him somewhere in the early 2nd for that ability to spread the floor. he's athletic enough to hang in the nba but needs to work on rebounding and defense.

dedric lawson - ku - this guy has all the tricks in the book except a consistent 3-pointer. i can easily see a team taking him late 1st/early 2nd based on production in college alone and working on his jumper. if he measures remotely well in the combine, he seems like a sneaky pick for the spurs.

Goga Bitadze

Goga Bitadze will rise. He is the best centar in this class. He almost has better stats in Euroleague than other centers in NCAA

I also don't understand why a

I also don't understand why a lot sleeping on him, being as good as he is at such a young age playing senior level is very impressive, I think he could be the next Andrew Bynum!

Top Riser

Lots of good picks in the thread, I think a lot of people are sleeping on Grant Williams. He's a year younger than most players in his class, and he has really progressed as an all-around player this year. He's shooting 83% from the line, a strong indicator he will shoot in the pros, and he is averaging over three assists. He's top 10 in the country in BPM and OBPM, and I think his D will translate too (though his wingspan measurements could play a part in his draft slot). He should also beast everyone at the combine in 5 on 5. He could be Draymond-lite on defense and score at all three levels on offense.

Okeke

Another strong candidate is Chuma Okeke from Auburn, who looks like a prototypical 3 and D combo forward. I see shades of Robert Covington (a little less awareness) and Pascal Siakam (a little slower).
