Has gotten consistantly better ever since he came to the league.

Any player under 6’8 has no chance of even contesting it. Like first 3 games of this season, he showed a constant post game. I posted here that Giannis was scoring, and looking to do a lot of damage from the low post as he progreses, and it showed today! He was outworking everyone from the post.

So my question is, given Giannis age and non stop progress, how good can his post game become, especially his turnaround J

His turnaround J is looking pretty damn good, as you mentioned.

However, I feel like he leans on it too much, and should continue to develop his hook shot. His hook shot is impossible to defend given his length and he makes it a good percentage of the time.

I would like to see him continue to work on his post game, particularly near the basket. His length/potential to build more muscle/athleticism combination could make him a lethal post player.

To me Giannis is the true unicorn. He possesses a physique and knows how to use this gift given his insane length and man this guy is hungry. He moves so natural for someone his size and his basketball IQ is tremendous. The thing I like most about his game and steady progress is that he knows what his strengths are and that he absolutely maximizes and is milking this advantages to the max. He was not a confident shooter in his early days but he went with his strengths and played a lot of slashing game. Steadily he took more shots when he had the opportunity and is improving there and his mechanics look just fine. There was a lot going on in his lower body while shooting and he looks more relaxed/smooth now shooting.

People also should not underestimate the fact that he also developed extremely well physically. I mean he really bulked up and his upper body is pretty well defined and he put on some good amount of muscles over the years. He is the most video game player you can find in the world and his shot can’t and won’t be ignored by opposing teams going forward and I‘m not confident that he will ever average close to 40% from three but his high post and midrange game is basically impossible to defend if he ever develops a set of post up moves like other long forwards like Bosh or especially Dirk has. Giannis is also an excellent ball handler to strat from.

akes him unique. The only other talent in the league with similar pairings in talent and physique is Anthony Davis who by the way is older than Giannis.

The Greak will be in the MVP conversation for like forever now and has already reached top level popularity and stardom at a very young age. His numbers don’t look bad at all compared to All Time greats like Kobe, Garnett or TD or whoever. Definitely one of my favorite players and a very likeable guy on top.

     Things he needs to do:

Stop fading away. He does this way too much, unnecessarily. His shot looks great and goes in way more when he goes straight up.

Don’t hesitate on threes. When he catches a pass and the defenders standing still 5+ feet away from him he has too much of a tendency to hesitate, do a couple fakes and maybe let the defender close in. Once again his shot looks good when he catches and fires in rhythm.

He’s made noticeable and steady improvements in this the weakest part of his game though, he’s potentially a year or two away from being the type of basketball we’ve never seen.

    THE CIELING IS THE ROOF.

I have never seen any player with his ombination of length and athletecism and skill level for that size (Ball handling and IQ) he has that mean streak taht you want, but you want it everytime he played, in game 5 he takes some plays off, he defered to his teammates and he sould not, I know he’s unselfish but look at how he bullies defenders with his length IQ athletecism and raw strentgh, I mean look at how he euro step, it covers like 5 feet, in one step. how can you stop this guy. He should realize that. Simmons is more closer to him, But I do not think simmons has Giannis tools of athletecism and length and mean streak.
