Mavs41ParticipantHe is a beast c’mon he is grabbing rebounds like crazy so far in the first quarter against the Wizards he got 7 rebounds and is averaging 11 rebounds. IMO he is one of my favorite players this year because he his helping his team and they beat the Cavs and he stopped Lebron and Lebron did score a lot but he had a hard time getting those points.
Your Thoughts on him?? anything to be added

MagikKnickParticipantMy most underrated player in the league. Hes working extra hard this year, normally hes not such a ferocious rebounder, but I guess thats one of the things Charlotte lost when they traded away Okafor
If he develops a consistant jumpshot, hes guaranteed all-star, even though he should be in the discussions right now

onn1320ParticipantMy thoughts on this is that everything you said about him is nothing new. I mean they call him Crash Wallace for a reason.- He’s been playing like this. – It’s just that he misses so much time you rarely get to see him.

SlimParticipanthe has a very high basketball IQ, doesn’t shoot the J but does everything else esp. defense
I think Stephen Jackson has made them more relevant, great trade
he brings great intangibles to that teamMichael Jordan taunted Wallace saying he should have left his left hand at home and I guess that motivated Wallace to play harder
I would love for Wallace to become a more consistent scorer but I will have to see what he does next game

Mavs41Participantreason why because Chandler looks a bit off but he can carry the team to the playoffs because the East isn’t that good. He is a SF and rebounds 11 rpg, he leads the league for SF and he could score at will that’s what they need and they need a PF because Diaw gets bullied but in the Draft they got a bit high and get someone good. Example : Favors if lucky
C: Chandler
PF: Favors
SF: Diaw
SG:Wallace
PG: Augustinbecause Felton is going to be gone because he’s going to be a Free Agent and won’t resign IMO.

Dhamp2ParticipantI don’t want to knock Gearld Wallace because he is a good player, but I still expected much, more from him. I thought he had all-star potential coming out of Alabama, when the coach forced him to play power forward. I’ll always remember his quote: “The coach has me playing out of position. It’s like Shaq playing shooting guard, LOL.”.
It was one thing when Wallace was playing behind Chris Webber, Mike Bibby and Vlade Divac in Sacramento, but he’s been in with the Bobcats for a long while. A few years ago, he was putting up all-star type numbers, but he got injured. It’s like he peaked right before the injury. He still has a little time, especially with Stephen Jackson on the team to help draw defends and with Larry Brown as coach. I’m pulling for him.
Dhamp2…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hube Brown anyway.
1. R.I.P. Earl Manigualt.
2. Carmelo will lead the NBA in scoring.
3. The Lakers will 3peat.
4. Wesley Johnson is a top 15 draft pick and the best transfer in America
5. Dwight Howard is overated.
6. There’s no way Steve Nash should have 2 MVPs, while Kobe Bryant has one.
7. Brandon Jennings will win ROY.
8. Eric Devendorf will be drafted (sorry about that)0 - Posted on: Sat, 11/28/2009 - 7:15pm #234051
KevinDurantRocksParticipantTalk about a beast over the last few seasons. He deserves to be on the allstar team

Adi JosephIt’s funny Wallace seems to be getting more publicity this year simply because of his rebounding numbers and increased minutes per game. He’s shooting significantly worse than in previous seasons, his assists are down and his turnovers are up.
With that said, he’s a very good player. Defensively, he’s one of the best in the league, and he’s hitting his stride this season as more of an on-ball defender rather than simply a solid help defender.

SlimParticipantthe Bobcats have all around been getting more publicity, and Gerald Wallace is the “star” of that team, his numbers are down but by ASG he should be able to get around 18ppg
