drice4life1753ParticipantSo I think it is safe to say this first round has lived up to the and then some. Today we got Atlanta vs. Indiana, Memphis vs. OKC, and GS vs. LA. What are peoples thoughts on todays games? Also curious to hear what people think the potential off season impact all of these Game 7’s could have today.
I am taking Atlanta, OKC, and GS (this one scares me). Honestly, in my opinion they are all toss ups, and I do not feel very confident any which way.
Indiana Impact: With the above results happening, I beleive that Indiana completely blows up their roster this summer. Meaning Paul George, David West, and Hibbert will be the only returning members of the starting lineup. Stephenson walks in FA, and George Hill doesn’t start and most likely a replacement is found.
Memphis Impact: Like most I believe this team will probably deal with the least amount of turnover, and obviously an OKC loss tonight presents much more of an impact in the off season. It is hard to guess what Memphis will do, b/c it is unlikely a team so heavily invested in analytics makes a splash with a high scoring combo guard type player in the off season, but scoring and the SG position is a dire need for Memphis and they know it.
Clippers Impact: Not much changes here either, probably bring in another shooter. Someone who can be reliable for almost 82 games and cover up the lack of development they’ve seen out of Bullock so far, who they were expecting to contribute this year, and was extremely disappointing during Reddicks injury troubles.
Obviously other people’s off season impact will be different if they suspect different teams will be winning today. Getting juiced for some good playoff ball today. Happy Saturday folks/

halfdecayedParticipantI think unfortunately, the pacers win tonight, but they will get their ass whooped by the Wizards. OKC wins of course by default since the ZBO suspension, and GS wins with some miracle 3 pointers

CavFanPRParticipantThe Pacers are probably going to advance but as stated above, will have a hard time against Washington, losing in 6 games. The Thunder will advance now that Z-Bo isn’t available for the series finale and Golden State gives the Clippers another early playoff exit.
