stepback3ParticipantHow much will this affect the Mavs?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 12:59pm #540335
RUDEBOY_Participanti didnt even notice he was in games 1 & 2…
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 1:19pm #540344
the I in winParticipantTyson Chandler will have to change his mentality a little, be more carefull not to get into foul trouble.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 1:55pm #540360
The White MambaParticipantWhen Chandler’s not on it will open up the middle for Lebron and Dwade to drive in

OhCanada-ParticipantReally Bosh… Again? I thats not soft idk what is. I was kinda hoping he didnt just extremely emberass himself by faking AGAIN, but damn… I hope Lebron is just giving him the buisness on the bench telling him this is no time to be faking.

delfamParticipant^ he got poked in the eye I believe
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:22pm #540372
OhCanada-ParticipantI saw him get poked in the eye too, the thing is thats the exact body langauge he has when Jamison broke his face. You shouldnt be on the ground screaming and thriving because your eye got poked, Stevenson hit a wide open 3. I dont care what anyone tries to tell me hes soft, but damn is he ever a good player…
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:26pm #540375
The White MambaParticipantChris Bosh is downright SOFT
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:28pm #540376
IndianaBasketballParticipantIF your eye gets poked hard enough and in the right spot, it’s nothing to play with and hurts like a b*tch. Just ask Amare Stoudemire.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:35pm #540380
KayjayParticipantAll I know is Lebron is handing out posters to everyone.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:41pm #540382
IndianaBasketballParticipantDallas playing pathetic defense.
IF Barea keeps struggling, I’d give Roddy B some minutes.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:43pm #540383
KayjayParticipantDIRK JUST TRAVELED IN SLOW MOTION!
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 2:52pm #540389
IndianaBasketballParticipantI didn’t see the travel lol. Looked like he kept his pivot down to me.
That was a great block by Dirk on Bosh.
Mavs playing sloppy though. Turning it over and sloppy passes. Terrible defense. Refs gave Dirk a free and one on that layup versus Miller… Miller didn’t touch him.
IF they keep turning the ball over and giving up layups, they’ll be down 15-20 at half time.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 3:00pm #540394
OhCanada-ParticipantNow all Lebron has to do to win a Championship is watch Wade play this beautiful game like a true Champion…yep that should launch him into Top 5 players of all time.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 3:14pm #540399
KayjayParticipantThe Mav’s haven’t looked like the surperior team the past three games. Which is odd considering I considered the Heat to be the inferior team.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 3:51pm #540422
OhCanada-ParticipantHave the Heat learned there lesson over that grueling season TO CLOSE GAMES! Thats all that stands between there goal of winning the Championship, can they shut down Dirk down the stretch and collectively make key buckets.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 3:53pm #540424
KayjayParticipantHe’s dissapearing. I don’t understand what he’s doing. But you want to talk about staining your legacy. This will certainly do it.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:02pm #540425
WizardofOzParticipantI’m now fully convince Dwyane Wade has eclipsed LeBron. LeBron has lost a good deal of quickness and explosiveness. That’s why he’s been dissapearing. He can’t blow by his man like he used to, in the half-court and transition. He had some big dunks, but he didn’t get up as high as he used to. And he had numerous ooportunities to get his signature chasedowns, but he didn’t even attempt on most of them because he knew he would get on a poster because he doesn’t get up like he used to.
LET THE NEGS COME!
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:06pm #540427
KayjayParticipantI’m not going to grace that with a negative. Lebron losing explosiveness at 26? What are you talking about? He posterized two people in the first half. If anything I’d say the Mav’s are walling off the paint. And considering he’s only taken about 11 shots is whats puzzling me. I’m not getting whats going on.
0- Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:11pm #540428
WizardofOzParticipantIf you watch a game of Cleveland LeBron, and then Miami LeBron, and you can’t see the difference, you’re blind. Yes he’s losing explosiveness at 26. Whether it’s because he’s gained too much weight or wear & tear, idk, but I see it. He’s nowhere near as quick as he used to be. The Mavs play good defense, but he can barely beat anybody off the dribble in the half-court anymore. And I saw those dunks, but he didn’t get up as high on tthose dunks like he used to.

KayjayParticipantHis overall game is different. He’s not trying to be just a bruiser anymore. You can say what you want, but it just sounds like a bunch of hate to me really.
0- Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:21pm #540434
WizardofOzParticipantI’m not hating, I’m just going by what I see. And if he used to be a bruiser, he should go back to being one being he was a much better player in Cleveland.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI can’t even tell LeBron is on the floor at times
0- Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:26pm #540435
WizardofOzParticipant@IndianaBasketball
Do you think LeBron has lost athleticism, because I really don’t believe I’m the only one that notices this.

OhCanada-ParticipantCrunch time baby!
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:31pm #540437
IndianaBasketballParticipantI think LeBron is more of a bruiser now. Trying to go through people instead of around and over them like he used to.
He’s still super athletic and huge, but he seems to have lost some explosiveness/quickness off of the dribble and overall hops. It could be a combination of things. I think he’s playing too heavy. Then I mean, it’s been a long season. Training camp, practice, regular season and the playoffs. And it’s not like he’s missed too many games. It could just be wear and tear.
And though he’s 26, he’s in his 8th season. He’s played a lot of minutes for an 8th year pro.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:33pm #540439
IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t understand it… Wade shoots best going to his left. Force him right.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:36pm #540441
IndianaBasketballParticipantWow… Dallas getting the homecourt advantage calls tonight.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:36pm #540442
OhCanada-ParticipantAs far as staining his legacy thats just dumb imo. He has no god damn legacy he 26, lets let him turn 30 before even thinking about a legacy. I see Dwayne Wade performing on the court, and Dirk Nowitzki performing on the court but only see Lebrons name in these forums. You guys are dick riding, or hating its a thin line but I dont see anyone finding a median.
LEBRON JAMES HAS HAD A VERY GOOD GAME IN CONTRAST TO DWAYNE WADE AND MIAMI’S 3 POINT SHOOTERS!All he has to do now is make sure they win. And come on man Lebrons still the most athletic player in the NBA, gimme a break he made two extremely explosive dunks. Even if he isnt the same what the heck do you expect after that many NBA seasons.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:38pm #540443
IndianaBasketballParticipantHow many times are they going to let Wade rock them to sleep, go left and pull up?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:41pm #540444
OhCanada-ParticipantRefs are handing Dallas the game. Lebron got hacked and shouldve gotten three attempts at the line.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:45pm #540445
OhCanada-ParticipantFor the win? They have tons of 3 point shooters and I dont wanna give Wade, Lebron and Bosh another chance. Id go for the win. Carlisle is a great playcaller, force Stojakovic or Terry to prove they are worthy of this oppurtunity.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:50pm #540446
WizardofOzParticipantDAMN! I really wanted Dallas to get the win.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 4:53pm #540450
IndianaBasketballParticipantThese are the two best teams, but does anybody else feel like this series is lacking excitement? It’s sort of boring.
I mean, Dirk has been great. Wade was great towards the later part of game one and has dominated the last two games. LeBron has had a few highlights and has had his moments. Bosh has been solid.
I mean, it just feels like this series is missing something though. Does anybody else feel this way or am I tripping?
0- Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 5:05pm #540460
WizardofOzParticipant^^ I agree IndianaBasketball. I was constantly tuning in-&-out of Game 1, and I went to sleep during Game 2 when Miami was cruising, even though I missed Dallas big comeback. And tonight, even though it was a close finish, I knew Miami was going to win. It’s like they were destined to. It’s definitely lacking some excitement for me.

marcusfizer21ParticipantThe last time the Finals have been exciting for me was the 2008 match up between the Lakers and the Celtics… The past 3 years have been …uhhhhhh
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 8:53pm #540543
TyrekeJonesParticipantI thought last years finals was pretty interesting, rematch of 2008, Kobe going for his 5th ring, the intense rivalry of the Lakers and the Celtics and the fact it was a seven game series.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/06/2011 - 5:49am #540604
IndianaBasketballParticipantI hope the Bulls get Rose a serious backcourt running mate somehow, Boozer gets his act together, Westbrook tightens his decision making and Durant gets stronger/starts demanding the ball down the stretch… Because I think Chicago vs OKC is the next great NBA Final.
