Fun Stat on Sabonis

He's shooting 83% from behind the arc this season, on 6 attempts...... ha.

Pretty sure he'd be the first player in NBA history to slash 60/80/70 from the field, three point line, and charity stripe.

Wish my magic kept him & oladipo :( If ownership was just patient with the rebuild, they would have Vucevic (possible all star this year), Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon & Sabonis. That's a 52+ win team in the East.

Super Mario was such an unfortunate pick for Orlando.......

Granted he would have likely gone in the top 10 that draft, there were a ton of quality players selected after #5. Any of the guys below could have realistically been added to the above core I mentioned;

  • Devin Booker
  • Myles Turner
  • Montrezl Harrell
  • WCS
  • Trey Lyles
  • Delon Wright
  • Josh Richardson
  • Kelly Oubre
  • Rondae Hollis Jefferson

Rebuilding teams cannot afford to miss that badly on top 5 picks.

Well at least you guys have

Well at least you guys have Isaac who looks like a first team defensive player and if he ever develops his offense he will Be nasty. Bamba still needs to to put on some weight and improve his feel but I think he could be an all star based of his skill and potential. You guys just need a point guard to maximize the potential of those two guys and I think your in a great place for the future

I'll raise my hand and admit

I'll raise my hand and admit that when I saw the report that Oladipo was going on the shelf that I thought the Pacers would collapse. Indiana has a deeper and better team than I realized. They play D and share the ball. Sabonis would be playing 35 minutes on more than half the league. Myles Turner is having fewer of his m.i.a. games. When Turner or Sabonis miss a game, O'Quinn steps in seemlessly. With Collison and Joseph, it looks like two backup point guards, but both are providing solid minutes. Aaron Holiday has stepped in well for a mid-first rookie. Bojan is not giving an inch to Bogdan in the Most Valuable Bogdanovic contest. Five teams in, Doug McDermott is in a place where he will be close to a 50-40-90 guy this year. They have made good on a lot of guys who haven't played to their current level elsewhere. Hats off to them.

That's the thing about Bogdans - theyre so competitve about the MVB title that they push each other to be better.

It is an award that should be

It is an award that should be included in the NBA Honors night show along with an Oscars-like in memorium for all the coaches who were fired over the past 12 months.
